Graham handled that halfcourt press about as badly as a guard can handle it. wow.

The two-year project came one assist shy of having two triple-doubles in his first 10 games. Looks like he might even be a rotation player this year!

Pj's blocks were as big as a surprise as Lamelos triple double.

its amazing what you can do when you give up on boxing out altogether

trae really gotta get called out. dude took what must have been 20 shots but wouldn't set up collins or capela if he was paid to do it

Fellas...

We finally have hope.

If we were somehow able to acquire a repectable starting center...that's a team. But even if we don't, there's light at the end of this tunnel.

Great two nights!

The team has the cap space to acquire a good big. I just hope they don't blow it on someone that ends up sucking.

Hell no to contract year players like Drummond.

I’ll have to watch the game on delay later tonight or tomorrow.

I hate not watching teams I root for live.

HATE it.

Bummer Slam!

Not only did he get the triple double but LaMelo played flat out awesome. +18 to lead the team and only 1 TO, though you could have given him atleast one more. It's incredible to see and watching him is the most fun I've had as a fan maybe ever. The Hornets have done their dirtiest trick and given me hope. We have a new face of the franchise and I hope he continues to wear it well.

Providing there aren’t any floaters at the end of any of them, I could watch hours and hours and hours and hours of LaMelo driving the ball.

His timing, how quickly he can get into the paint, the way he uses his length, the way he can finish with either hand (and sometimes switch hands when he gets there or while he’s doing it) and his ability to finish when he gets there is just such a pleasure to watch.

The kid is awesome.

I so miss wanting to watch Hornets basketball. This game was just a joy to watch, thrilled with LaMelo and the prospect of what this team can become.

Might even be a starter. We'll see!

The Hornets during the 90's and early '00s had guys who were legit stars like LJ,ZO,Rice, and then Baron Davis. All of those guys were superstars during their time in Charlotte. It looks like the Hornets have a guy who can finally be the successor to those guys. Obviously Lamelo is not there yet but he looks like he has potential to be a superstar.

Melo looks very comfortable out there, moreso than I think anyone could have expected given his age, experience level, and history of shooting struggles. If he keeps shooting from the outside reasonably well hes going to run away with the ROY award.

I'm surprised hes been so solid on defense. I think thats the biggest thing other than the shot making that I didn't see coming so early.
