Hope it's not too serious, hate to see another setback for him, he plays so hard and has been playing so well & starting to really make a name for himself across the league.

Per Woj, A torn ACL

I’d honestly trade for Whiteside at this point.

Son of a b****. That’s a gut punch.

Feel awful for Bryant. Such a fun player to watch.

Great. Brooks and Sheppard are going to use this injury as an excuse as to why the team goes 5-22.

Yup. If we just had all of our guys healthy, we'd be contenders. First, we had Rui out for a few games because of pink eye. Then Bertans wasn't in shape yet. Then Westbrook missed a few back-to-backs. Then Beal missed one because of Covid protocol. Now Bryant is hurt.

None of this is Brooks' fault! He's one of the best coaches in the league! He took that OKC team to the Finals after all!

Looking around the league for a stopgap replacement, and the best guy I can come up with is Tony Bradley. He's the 3rd string center in Philly behind Embiid and Dwight. He is on an expiring deal worth $3.54M, almost the exact same money as Jerome Robinson (3.73M). Would Philly be interested in more backcourt depth?

Khem Birch from Orlando is also an option. But he's getting 20 minutes a game as a rotation player so they wouldn't just give him away for Robinson and I'm not interested in exchange real future value for a stopgap.

It's too bad we didn't opt in on Wagner's final year. He's going to get a lot of minutes now and that may boost his trade value to the point that he is at least worth a 2nd round pick or something. But now since he's a free agent this summer, rendering him valueless.

Terrible news, feel so bad for TB , he really was playing so well and looking like he was putting it all together.

As far as the Wizards, I hope they bring in Justin Patton. Otherwise I guess we'll get some confirmation on what we got in Wagner and Pasecsniks.

Also, IMO they should say to Westbrook your inability to play back to backs plus the way you're playing you are obviously compromised physically, we're going to sit you the rest of the season so you can fully recuperate. You're on the 2019 John Wall program, well see you next season.

Don't sign a replacement... let the rebuild begin in earnest...

Assume will get an injured player exception, though I think would have to unload a contract.

Maybe he’s a small trade asset at next years deadline. I’ll take what we can get. Not a guy want to resign at anything near his current contract. We should be investing significant draft capital on a rim protecting switchable big man. We may not be seeing much of any more TB in Wiz uniform.

Wouldn't it be nice if we'd signed Nathan Knight undrafted -- instead of letting Atlanta have him? Most of us wanted Mathews promoted to the regular squad, which would have made room for Knight on a 2-way deal.

Justin Patton is on OKC's G League team. No... that's a year ago. The Clippers acquired him as part of the (whatsisname...?) deal on draft night then waived him.
