Clippers need to petition to try and get out of these early afternoon games , especially when playing an Eastern team whose players bodies don't feel like they are still in the early afternoon. As much as one can try, it is hard to get the body as ready, but gotta push.

He's likely not to be honest, PG is not a point guard, and the 5.0 apg to 4.2 tpg with him being used more as a primary facilitator is showing that reality.

It's always been pretty soft to me how we can usually pencil in a loss just because it's the early afternoon on a weekend.

Depends on who you play (if it is someone in the same time zone it is better). These are professional basketball players playing other professional basketball players, simply being a little bit sluggish can be the difference between winning and losing. If you work at 3 pm all week and your schedule is set for that, then you have to work at 9 am one day, your energy level is not going to be the same even if you sleep on time and do everything you can.

For the average worker, they have to show up and finish the day, for a basketball player, work is a physical competition, which means you have to not just show up and get through the day yawning and a step slow, but you have to exert yourself physically and perform. So you have to push as much as you can, but there are some physiological barriers. If you've ever had a workout schedule and then changed it up drastically one day, whether you slept enough or whatever else, matching the same consistent energy level can be hard to do.
