Chicago has been playing good as of late so this isn't a fluke game.

Our starting five has been great. If we can get consistent bench play we'll be alright in the long run.

Thank goodness this game is over. Easily one of the best displays of pure shotmaking you'll ever see by both teams... but still no excuse to sweat it out until the last seconds against a shorthanded lottery team.

I like that Bulls team. Scrappy.

Good solid win. Not all pretty and another slow start but it’s still a win.

They may very well be a lottery team but they're playing inspired BB. The Lakers barely won against these guys. Any win in the NBA is a good win this season.

Read on Twitter

Lue said he talked to Lou, Kennard, and Reggie last night about the lineup not working and they would make changes. Told Reggie to stay ready.

That is going to be interesting. I wonder how the lineup going to be.

Lou/Luke/Reggie lineup means opponents will score at will.

In another tweet I can’t find right now said it would be a Kennard and Lou rotation. Sounds like Jackson is the odd man out for now.

Also Lue said once Morris gets in shape/conditioning they’d be using him more in the small ball center role.

It shouldn't have taken ten games for Lue to figure out that playing all our worst defenders together was a bad idea. I mean, it's still better than Doc, who couldn't figure that out in seven years, but still.

Sometimes unexpected lineups surprise you. The regular season is the time to experiment these lineups for a team like this, not the time to have a rigid rotation. 10 games is a solid sample size, saw that it didn't work, time to move on.

I actually like that he didn't simply dismiss it without giving it a chance. Coaches many times stumble upon good lineups, but that doesn't happen if you don't give it a chance even if it might not seem logical naturally. As long you're willing to look at the data and say, "okay, that's not working" instead of trying to force it to work, it's good.

The 10-game tactic is actually a Phil Jackson move. Ty Lue played under Phil Jackson. In other words, this is a good move.

Think of it like 10-day contracts, except that because it's not player personnel, you only get one shot.

good win. bulls are not a pushover of more recent years.

glad to see them talk about how those lineups are over and done with. i still don't think the bench is quite right and I'm not sure what improves it besides a trade of some sort.

Didn't get a chance to watch it but I expected it to be kind of close. Bulls also played Lakers down to the last second too from what I saw on Friday.

Too bad for Reggie, I thought he played well this season.

We gave Kennard a big contract so he'll get mins no matter what.

He may get back into the rotation if guys have to miss games due to injury or covid protocols. Also, somebody might get ice cold and Lue may need to try Reggie again

I like that Lue doesn't get so defensive when reporters question him about his rotations. I remember Doc getting really irritated and short with reporters when they asked legitimate questions about his rotations

Guess Lou was playing a bit passive to try and fit in better. That doesn't tend to work out for players like him to be most effective.

Lou 9 FTAs. He's been averaging ONE.

ONE. Lou brought it today. 21 points, team-high plus+16. With all the trade talk, clearly he's been feeling unappreciated and made a statement today. 4 assists and THREE steals.

Yes, Kawhi and PG came through--as they are paid to do--but the difference today was Lou.

Trade me? Fine. Do it now. My contract's up. I gave the Clippers a hometown discount and now I'm the problem? We all know my brother Trez busted ass EVERY night and the "Clipper family" left him out like a dog in the rain.

And I'm next.

Let me start over somewhere else now. You think I'm gonna drive the lane and let some 260-pound idiot rookie end my career? What are you smoking, Mr. Ballmer???

It's funny--I used to side with the org. And rah rah rah, teamteamteam. When Sterling was running things, at least you knew it was a just a business. None of that bogus "family" sh*it. No owner pretending he's your biggest fan.

If I'm Lou Williams, I'm GFY, Mr. Ballmer. :D Pay me or trade me. Try to do without me.

Thanks for starting the game thread.

And I'm like wtf about the game time too. Great point about teams from other time zones having the jump on us.

Glad somebody enjoyed the win. Winning ugly will always be underrated. They trailed all game but never quit. That's all I ever ask from my team.
