he's on a bad team, and he's part of the reason for sure.

IIRC when Wall and Beal were balling and they had more semblance of a basketball team, they were still only 7-8th seed in the East.

he should be a 3rd star on the Lakers, or something like that.

I'm just saying that when you're a so-called star in this league and your big games don't even lead to winning then you're part of the problem (isn't that what the tweet is alluding to?). He's probably a 3rd string star, 2nd on a good day. He'll do well with a dominant big or something.

I'm not sure if he'll get us over the hump. Jimmy and Bam are not dominant alphas, they will probably force Beal to be that guy he aint. but idk you could do a lot worse than Beal I suppose. the league is so competitive at the top you can't just sit there and do nothing just because you can't find the best possible deal. :dontknow:

Jimmy has shown he knows how to take over in the 4th. Beal would be there to help keep the offence flowing through the first 3/4. With Beal on the court Bam can dominate defensively, and let his game flow from there.

I agree, as long as he accept that will NEVER be his team Beal is welcomed, he has to learn his place and he's place is just a score for the first three quarters

I think he's a legitimate second option if you put him with an mvp-type superstar like lebron. Him added to lebron/ad would be gg (unless lebron father times)

On our team, he'd probably be the best offensive player, though I wonder if his regular season stats are fluffed up by playing with no defense/all offense lineups in Washington

Not gonna lie: I freaking have this colour Lakers jersey. I’ve never liked their white jerseys, but this blue one is just next level unappealing for me.

I liked the Kobe-era Minnesota throw-back jerseys, but for some reason seeing it on LeBron makes me sick.

I actually liked that they added that black side panel (& all the other small changes they made when LeBron signed) - because I really don’t like it. Makes it easier to not associate this Lakers era with the Kobe and Kobe/Shaq eras
