Hard to believe that Brady needed to channel “super bowl magic” to get past the mighty Washington Football team with no home field advantage

Well, we have to see if he is even still President come Thursday.

But if Bill accepts (and the Pats need to keep their distance IMO) I might have to seriously re-think my Patriots fandom.

And yes I am serious.

That article is about Brady having a huge comeback vs. the Falcons late in the regular season (check the date) which mirrored the Super Bowl vs. the Falcons. So the comparison fits.

As for Brady.......dude is the GOAT. What else is there to say? I don't know how long his postseason run will last but hard to say he is done since he never is.

I appreciate him even more now after watching whatever the offense was for the Pats this season. I mean what the hell WAS that?

It's actually not a really prestigious award. Obama gave out 118 of them during his presidency. Relative to those who have received, you could make a real case for BB as deserving (even ignoring some of Trump's picks, like Rush Limbaugh). Of course, Trump is rewarding BB for his past support, and hopes to use him for a photo op.

I'm pretty sure he knows better than to fly to DC and be used in an attempt to boost Trump's profile. I don't really mind him accepting the award, though. I feel bad for him that he is being put in this position. His strength isn't public relations and I'm sure he wants no part in any political drama.

I will never have anything to do with the Patriots if Belichick does this. The PGA has cut its ties to Trump, and it's about time for the Patriots to do the same.

nice statement. i like how he juxtaposed it vs social justice.
i haven't been too thrilled with the team brass's support for trump but at least they drew the line somewhere.

This image cracks me up. Also I hope Desean Watson forces his way out of Houston and Pats get him. Bruins start Thursday. I'm not really a hockey guy but I might become one until Baker lifts the bull crap curfew.

Jakobi Meyers still has a perfect QB Rating two years into his career, so maybe hold off on that take.

How are the other Boston Sports teams doing, at this time of year?

Ok so this isn't Boston sports-related but I just want to say something about this.

I was a freshman at Fordham when Chase was a Sophomore. I went to the first football game against Villanova that year, one in which Fordham lost (which we did frequently). But Chase was always the bright spot, and in that game, he had the greatest 5 yard run I've ever seen (still true to this day) and got a standing O since the run was THAT good.

I kinda knew then he was likely an NFL player, but I'm amazed he got this far.

He would've beaten Adrian Peterson's NCAA FCS rushing record had he not got a serious ankle injury late in his Fordham career and wasn't surrounded by absolute **** talent, but it still feels amazing to me that I got to see him play so early and now he's come this far.

There's a reason I pick him in fantasy every year. Damn proud of him man.

EDIT: Also I BADLY want the Pats to sign him when he's a free agent next year, they did interview him in the pre-draft process. But if he's the AZ starter, that's unlikely

We are being outscored by our own offense right now.

Cam will not be here next year, lol.

Bill likes Cam. A lot. I disagree vehemently with it. But he likes him a lot.

Bump.

Also, unless the draft really moves against us, were drafting a QB early this year. One who can run the same offense as cam would be my best guess

When you can re-sign a washed up Quarterback who can’t throw, you just have to do it....

Terrible.

Boston sports has officially entered the dark ages.
