One benefit of the Knicks winning was none of Berman's negative, chicken little, bullsh*t articles.

I swear I want the Knicks to win more to shut Berman the f*ck up, then they actually be decent.

They'll lose anyway tonight. But still.

Might be a good idea to switch up the two ball dominant, can't shoot guards, but hey, what do I know.
Bench Payton or RJ.
The 2nd unit looks like it could use some scoring, so bench RJ.

LaMelo is going to carve up our bench like it's an Australian exhibition game. Maybe RJ can learn a thing or two about shooting from the kid who elevates .5 inches off the ground on his jumpshot and has the form that makes MKG look like Steph.

Hornets will likely adapt the winning formula other teams have deployed against us which is run 2-3 zone for 90% of the game and watch RJ-less and Elv-19 pump fake open 3s and drive it into 4 waiting defenders.

Mitch and Randle will share the load of doing things that don't completely depress/embarrass the fanbase.

We lose.

Agreed. Plus, RJ would then play with the young guys on the second unit. I think it would also be better for his development.

Yeah he got garbage minutes. He actually played aggressive, hit free throws and shared the ball. It was kinda refreshing to see after watching Payton ball hog the whole game

What boggles my mind is why the first 5 teams we beat didn't go under screens on RJ and Payton and deploy more zones against us. Dumb.

We should really have more than just 1 guy but I agree that should be the minimum. Ideally we get with the times and get a backcourt that can shoot. Payton and RJ ain’t it

Elfrid, DSJ, Nerlens Noel, Frank can all be traded or waived in my opinion even if it requires for us to include Kevin Knox and a couple of second round picks to get a first round pick.
Only keepers are:
Mitchell
Randle
Obi
Rj
Quickley as a starter to develop him even if we lose.
Burcs
And if possible keep Knox as well.
