My hope is that we trade Kyle and load manage FVV, Siakim OG and Boucher (load manage = play them once every five games).

The Hinkie 6ers were such a pleasure to watch. Their teams were so fun on the court. We need to hire Hinkie as a special advisor.

This is a draft thread, and in case you haven't noticed the team isn't looking to good. Nothing like the Giannis thread.

Seems pretty similar to me. Getting hopes up about a player that we likely have no chance at.

Its not one player. The top 5 is all pretty good.

Plus, you don't even have to be the bottom team to get the number 1 pick. In fact, those teams don't usually get the top pick in the lottery anyway.

I have no faith in half the teams currently ahead of us in the east to make the playoffs. Unless we make a trade or some injuries happen we are gonna start turning the tables on some of these teams who have played soft ass schedules, are either at .500 or barley over and still have a worse point differential than us.

They figured it out boys. Never play Baynes or Len. The tanks over boys. Your commanders are down. Its looking like a 9th place finish boys. Better hope a couple people go down and we end up moving up from the 7-10 pick range, because that's the best odds we're talkin bout. These guys are gunning for the playoffs still, its just to early boys.

8th seed in the East and the 16th overall pick in the draft would be a disaster.

Let me remind people that even if we were 3rd, 2nd, or HELL, even 1st... it doesn’t mean sht.. cool an eastern conference 1st place banner.. wow yay! Naa dudes, we get smoked in the playoffs regardless. This team isn’t championship material. No key free agent will sign here, it’s never happened before. There’s literally no point in winning games right now. Just develop young guys. The Boston series should’ve made that clear. We took it to 7 cuz of our defence/championship DNA, but we had no business getting past them. And now we suck ass and are nothing compared to last year let alone the chip year.. embrace the damn tank

This team is a superstar and a competent center away from being contenders. Oh wait that was 2018-19 :P

Cade looks a lot like Tatum. He’s definitely a 3/4 at the NBA level
2019 Eastern Conference All Stars

Derozan
Lowry
Ibaka
Valanciunas
Van Vleet
Delon Wright
Lebron
Embiid

There are only 2 teams in the league that rank in the top 6 in offensive and defensive efficiency: the Golden State Warriors and the Toronto Raptors.

For me it's not Cade and Suggs...its Cade but then I'll take Green over Suggs first and then Kuminga as well.

For me it’s Cade and Kuminga then Green, Mobley, and Suggs with the latter 3 in no order. Obviously gonna change once Gleague starts and we actually see Green and Kuminga play

I think he’s more Luka than Tatum. Big PG that doesn’t rely on athleticism as much but rather skill and IQ. Watching tape and seeing his step back 3s and the way he probes the opposing defenders gives me Luka vibes

Cade seems to be a better defender than Luka while obviously not as advanced offensively although similar styles on offensive.

It truly would be disastrous. Basically would be a waste of a season altogether by getting knocked out quickly in the 1st round and not even getting a high level prospect to show for it

From what I've seen from Cade so far, he's a high usage, average efficiency type player although that might be because of the college game

Why the dislike for Suggs? Mainly because he's only 6'4?

I've watched a little bit of tape on both guys and while I see potential, are either of these guys game changers?

If we do tank and get a top 5 pick, are we all comfortable with letting any of these top 5 picks dictate the next 7-8 years of this franchise? Because we all know what happens when trying to build around an allstar and not a superstar.

For example, I hear a lot of talk about Emoni Bates. Isn't that who we should be targetting in 2022 or 23? Or whenever it is he's eligible.

Like, I could probably talk myself into believing Cade is the next Grant Hill or whoever his ceiling comp is but at this point, he doesn't seem like a sure thing.

Yeah, I think we'll likely know within the next few months as that player will outshine the rest. We need a superstar, I dont care which pick you get thst player just get him if were gonna let this year be a wash.

That move at 2:10 is exactly what we need. A player with legit size that you can just give the ball to and have him go to work and get a bucket. Looked smooth

He had a crazy debut game. I wonder if he declares for this draft or waits till next year. He’s still awfully small and idk how his defense is but if he declares this year, he’s definitely a sleeper pick

At the college level, he is an elite all around PG who’s 6’8. He is a ben Simmons who can shoot. Just think about that lol

Mac! We need this kid to get that all 6 foot lineup Nurse and Masai are clamouring for.
