Jaw dropping stuff from Joker, agreed. Plus, just as magical - he suddenly became svelte (relatively speaking). It seemed like yesterday he looked like a bloated corpse.

Fun fact - he's averaging 24/12/12 thus far (on 70%TS!)

Draymond Green has been awful this year. He is taking some 3 shots a game and is making on average just under 1 of those shots a game. Additionally he is averaging just 4 rebounds a game and 5 assists a game. Dude has a PER of 7.1.

With it seemingly like 5-10 new players are being quarantined every other day it’s hard to see the season making it to the proposed end.

naw it will. the nba is still going dramatically better than the nfl, mlb, and college seasons....

while i wish they'd go back to bubble ball, they're not stopping. everyone knew the nba season would get bumpy eventually.

The difference with the NFL and MLB though is the roster sizes. Sure there are situations like the Broncos with their QB’s and the Saints with their RB’s, but for most part it’s been easily manageable for teams when a player has tested positive.

But if 5 dudes from an NBA team get locked down that could be your starting 5 and would be 1/3 of your roster.

Plus with the condensed NBA season missing 10 days can mean 8 games, not just 1 or 2 like the NFL.

i don't disagree when it comes to proportional roster impact or the additional difficulties of the schedule. but i do think its much healthier and safer than the other leagues overall

also - i hiiiiiiiiiiighly doubt the NFL was reporting/testing like they should've been across the board

Yeah, it's pretty scary. The Hornets, like everyone else, are playing four times a week. Even though they have a young roster, a lot of these guys injured are early in their careers.

i'm totally down with having a rotation in which nobody even plays over 30 min.

we have more than enough ok players to make that work when guys are all healthy.

Graham (30) / Monk (18)
Terry (30) / Melo (18)
Hayward (30) / Melo (12) / Martin (6)
PJ (18) / Miles (30)
Zeller (24) / Biz (12) / PJ (12)

I agree, we have a lot of depth also. May as well use it to protect the better players from injury and see who we need to keep around.

Nuts the Raptors are 2-7

I know I was super down on the OG signing. Hit only 14/51 threes so far good for 27.5%. Surprising he is hitting nearly 41% of his attempts from the corner? If I am doing the math right he has 22 corner threes and made 9 of them? meaning he is shooting 5/29 on all other threes good for 17%. Yikes. Oh and all 14 threes he has made this year have been assisted.

Nothing like paying a guy 72 Million dollars to not be able to shoot off the dribble.

They’re a weird team and I can’t figure what they are.

They kinda seem a mismatch of players that are just a collective of average to below average players who are left over after a mass walk out of all the good to great players......which I guess is essentially what they are!!

It would annoy me how they would say they were such an amazing front office because they were a championship team without a single lottery pick on their roster.

They’ve had PLENTY of lottery picks - it just that very few of them panned out. So really, their front office is crap at drafting and just good at trades and signing FA’s.

I think they are paying the price for being a crap drafting front office. They don’t have any quality players on rookie contracts because they pushed all their chips in on a very, very small window by bringing in high priced pieces like Kawhi, Ibaka, Gasol etc.

Now they are left having to overpay for sub talent like OG.
