If you have an issue with how many 3s they take I'd pick another team (or sport) to root for or something because that ain't changing. It's not only how the NBA is played now but it's specifically how this team was built to play.

Bruh. We lost a game for taking too many 3s. The team isn’t adapting to defense. It’s not a winning formula. Bridges is definitely not the 2nd best player on the team. Thing is this formula won’t work in the playoffs. What’s your explanation for Booker only getting 16 shots a game? That’s the same amount as malik Beasley for crying out loud. Serge ibaka is getting more shots than Ayton. Balance is life. Whenever there’s an imbalance in something it’s a recipe for disaster. This team is as unbalanced as I’ve seen in years. If suns want to seriously consider themselves as contenders they need to pick up the pace and have a more balanced attack.

Made some valid points earlier - but this is just trolling. Please stop.

How in the world this team is "as unbalanced as I've seen in years" when we have had Suns teams winning 19 or 21 games in a full season?
Personally I don't care about who is scoring more or less... I just want to win games and go to the playoffs and I am pretty sure that Booker and Ayton think the same.

There’s only so much you can do for a guy who can’t consistently create his own offense. He doesn’t look to score. Obviously I want to see him scoring more, but most of the effort is going to need to come from him, not the rest of the team or even coaches. He can get his own within this offense, we’ve seen.

alamin330 wrote:Suns need to get Ayton the ball and let him get more shots. Cp3, bridges and cam can’t be 2,3 and 4 in shot attempts. This team is on a crash course if they don’t fix this offense. How is your star player and 2nd best player taking less than 25 shots a game combined? Booker should be taking about 20 shots per game alone and ayton 15. Tok many 3s. This team is starting to look more and more like a regular season team than a playoff team.

I think this is a simplified response. Ayton gets the ball in crowded paint positions and has to pass. He does not get the ball in scoring position.

Monty Williams being stubborn again and Chris paul doesn’t even look for Ayton. Ayton is wide open about 3 times a game and I mean not a soul next to him and they shoot a 3. It’s ridiculous. Bridges just can’t be taking more shots than Ayton. Cam Johnson definitely can’t be taking the same amount of shots as Ayton.
Hard to argue with 7-3

The guy doesn't want it.
He's said he's not interested in offense and the eye test certainly backs that up. He passes it to an shooter every chance he gets it. He only tries to score when there's no options out there for him to defer t. He gets PLENTY of touches but he doesn't do anything with it.

Bogyo wrote:Other intresting stats from the games so far: we only lost the 2nd quarter twice, once against the Clippers, once against Detroit.
We have won the first quarter only 4 times - and 2 of these were by only 1 point. Slow starts, and starters not gelling enough is a real thing.

Yea. But what I’m trying to say is they winning is going to stop if we keep playing this way

Ayton needs to be more aggressive but he's playing within the offense. Hes looking for the open man and doing the right thing moving the ball usually. His usage is very low last I checked and I think he needs to be more involved early in games so we aren't so reliant on the long ball when shooters inevitably come down.
