We got off to a decent start, been some Team Bagley stuff going on, have looked terrible the last two games. Does Walton last till the end of the month?

Third best? He was first. Early wins must’ve pushed him back

If he can’t man up and take control of the locker room then he’s done. And I am all for it as we have our guy in place already, the season is still more than young enough to salvage and he’s an idiot anyway.

No. Keep Fox, Hali, and Bags (for now). Fire Walton. Trade or cut all of the vets. Play the kids. Tank. Get the third cornerstone.

There are two types of tanking--this type and the type where the kids play hard, but still lose. The Kings should do the latter.

I voted yes. My reasoning is I think McNair will avoid following in the footsteps of his predecessors. Coaching carousel is closed.

FWIW I could see the Kings easily losing the next 5 games.

It’s the Cade Cunningham derby.

Evan Mobley is the guy I want, personally.

I get that we are likely tanking. But damn the Walton experiment is failing miserably. Time to cut the cord. Let Gentry take over the rest of the season and go out and get Jeff Van Gundy this summer.

Cade seems to be the pick if Fox is still on the team. Fox thrives with other smart players who can take the pressure off of him. Adding Cade to Fox and Haliburton would be a feat and we would have one of the best looking perimeter cores in the league. Cade is going to be amazing.

He better not. Even if they don't keep losing at this rate.

It is if the coach salts the earth before he leaves. If you lose your way to a pick you need to do it without the negative stigma so you can advance on some sort of positive footing.

Kings are playing hard for him..I’ve watched most of 4 or 5 games and have been impressed with the unselfish nature of the offense (even Buddy this season is making good team plays)

I don’t see why Walton has to be the scapegoat for the flawed roster (mostly do to the epic disaster that is Marvin Bagley)

Because Vlade was let go and his lingering ghost of a mediocre coach remains. You do not do this for this very reason. And that hard play waffles as soon as the players remember the coach is halfway out the door already.

Walton's doing a good job carrying on the full tank playing CoJo and Bagley so much. As long as Haliburton develops, losing out wouldn't be the worst. Gotta start at the very bottom to have a chance to build things back up. Winning just enough to have a mid lotto pick hasn't done much for us the past 10 years time to tank out and go from there under McNairs lead.
