Yes, his turnovers and travel were bad. He has taken more shots and passed less, which a lot of people want. He was playing ok defense to start but not as good since, though no one playing good D outside of certain possessions like Saric on one. A bunch of silly fouls too, especially early, hurts our D.

I do agree this is one of Ayton's worst halfs, but no one is playing well.

I have always been a big supporter of Ayton and he has gotten better on defense but he has regressed offensively, he is consistently outplayed by the Robin Lopez of league game after game at some point he just is who he is

Tonight has exemplified just how badly we need an aggressive rebounder. Ayton may get 11, but that's only because the ball falls on his head 11x a game being 7'1. No fight.

Tonight, when he's needing to work to get the boards, he's getting beaten by a monumental spud and a perennial bottom-team journeyman in Lopez.
