This is not a good roster. Thats evidenced by the change in the rotation every night.

Sure the roster has its problems but this roster is better than a 20% win percentage team. We’re sitting below all the crap teams of the league and a lot of these teams have far worse rosters

Ok. I still haven’t seen any poor game planning or strategic failings on nurses part.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating for him to get fired. Just saying if it were any other coach without the resume he’s had in the past 2 years, he’d be getting fired

As much as it would be good for the tank, they’re not ending up with a 20% win percentage unless Lowry is traded or Siakam gets hurt.

I don’t think Nurse is on the hot seat nor should he be. As far as I’m concerned he can focus on growth this year, too.

nah bruh dw we can easily be bottom 5 in the league. look at the games dude, its lookin like every team has gotten better. atlanta has gotten better, bulls have lavine, who is super underrated and can score 40 points every 4-5 games. sexton, garland and drummond have been winning games for the cavs. washington still has beal/westbrook. randle is killin it with the knicks, lamelo is killin it with hornets. we can easily be bottom 3

Weak azz new DeRozan.

find a new whipping boy as DeRozan could always get space to get his shot off..i've seen DeRozan close games here. going forward fred or lowry should have the ball in their hands.

Surely this is a troll post, right? Derozan dribbled the ball off his foot multiple times attempting game winners. He literally did it once in Portland against Wes Matthews.

Lol Nick Nurse is pissed at all the starting lineup questions. He’s losing his composure.

Casey hasn’t been fired from the pistons and Brooks somehow is still with the wizards. And these guys aren’t anywhere near nurse.

Nurse is as safe as any coach in the league.

Because Siakam is the new DeRozan.

If we're being honest, they were both good looks. Both in and out. The man plays great d, and hustles so he'll never be a complete liability. If he were being officiated like an all star he should have gone to the line. Wiggins clearly got him on the follow through and covington bumped him.

That was a schedule loss, three games in four nights. FVV was clearly gassed. Lowry looked like toast by the start of the fourth. Nurse did not want to see Malachi out there which was a weird call. Pity since he is from the Pacific Northwest and likely had family watching his game.

On the plus side:

Best game of the year for TDII: A couple threes and a good pass
Stanley Johnson played his heart out and I think he has earned a rotation spot, even though the defence ignores him
Siakam triple double
Boucher playing like a man possessed

While the games have not been pretty, Toronto can say their defence is back. The two best guards in the league, Lillard and Curry, held to 10 of 36 on a back-to-back.

Roasting of Siakam is kinda getting dumb now. Yeah when he played bad he deserved it now you guys overdoing it. It's like reverse boosting.

The team is at least looking themselves again despite the results. Definitely some issues with depth, but with the main guys rounding into form along with Boucher looking like a part of the core, the results should eventually come.

I got flamed for saying he's literally costed us 4 games in the clutch this year.
Probably Sixers. He was great early on, but he took a few ill-advised threes and had a costly turnover in the final ~2 minutes. Wouldn't put any of the losses solely on Lowry aside from the Spurs game (wide open FT jumper basically), but he definitely felt like one of the reasons for tonight and last night.

In what way? Pistons spend their cap space on Grant, plumblee, etc..wizards traded for Russ..we just sign back our free agents and lost all our big men..how could possible be expectations b higher?

I saw the brooks thing. But he’s been there 6 years now. He should’ve been fired 3 years ago.

Also the expectations for the wizards after getting Westbrook this summer were similar to the raps if not higher.

We legit don’t have a center that can do anything. If we did we’d be a 500 team right now. That’s not on nurse and Masai is smart enough to know that.

Pascal's poor play early in the season really overshadowed his improvement as a passer. He's making some next level passes now and seeing the floor better; he also seems much more in control passing on the move.

Sorry but siakam is no defensive savant, he bumps people, jumps at any fake, dies on primary blowbys, loses guys off ball and off in bounds, and fouls a bunch then when he picks up fouls he can't rebound or help d

Did you see the play where Lillard lost the ball while driving? I'd call that pretty good defense on lillard
