No. He signed a 4 year deal. This is his 3rd season with us. Next year will be the last of his deal.

They can't take that much salary.

Reddish is still trash,i don't think there was any younger player in my life that got on my nerves more than Cam.
There is no objective reason why Cam isn't elite 3 and D guy, non. Yet look at this trash this year:

11 ppg
34,7% FG
29% for 3
1,3 assist- 1,7 turnovers
2,8 fouls

-4,3 BPM ( because of epic -3,9 offensive box plus minus).

Guy has great frame, athletic, fluid, his shot isn't broken, from time to time he looks like future star, than for next 10 games he is Mario Hezonja :banghead:

Atlanta will probably just start Huerter at SG, Rondo and Dunn will be backup PGs, once they are healthy.

Pretty much every critique of Clifford is " he doesn't give young players chance to shine"

Than Fultz out of thin air is Magic leading player in usage rate, and over 7 games he sucks, crushes and burns, ends up with ACL tear ( accident, but still, he was terrible in 7 games ).
Than Clifford, who "hates playing young players" starts Cole, and now Cole is unwatchable and unplayable. And it's still somehow Clifford's fault that he is not playing young players more?

Maybe they simply are not as good as you think?

Our coach is fine, he is one of better in NBA. People forget that guys like Walton, Brooks,Gentry,Borrego, Lue, Stotts and Vogel are still coaching in nba today. Frank Vogel is nba champion now.

Coaches and blaming on coaching is easly most annoying and missleading thing fans do.
NIck Nurse was rookie championship coach. Now his team has 2-7 record and they flat out suck. So he forgot to coach offense or maybeeeee just maybeeee team without Gasol, Ibaka and freaking Kawhi Leonard isn't that good?

How about Steve Kerr. 3 times nba champion. Runned team to worst record in team's history, 15-50. Once again, forgot to coach, or injuries?

NBA is talent driven league. Coaches are nothing but people who stroke star's egos. Almost every year most talented team wins whole thing. Regardless of coaching

The Magic's Box score Plus Minus (BPM) right now are incredible. Vuc at an out of this world 8.9 (2nd in the league), and then some of the worst in the league for Fultz, Cole, Ennis, Bacon, MCW, and Clark.
We are really a party of one.
I will say Birch's numbers are impressive thus far, surprised to see him as a positive on offense. Still think the minutes should be going to Bamba.

Trading him for 2nd rd picks is the alternative. No thanks. We don't use those anyway.

He will make over 7,5M next year so you are cutting bad salary.
I'm not really invested into notion of trading him for second round picks, but should be part of bigger trade? No doubt. He is soon to be 23 years old and looks to be years away from being 20-25 min solid rotation peace. I'm not wasting my future cap for poor man's Javale McGee.

Mo Bamba for Malik Monk is a deal I have seen both on this board and in general trade suggestion articles by Bleacher Report and more.

This deal offers us guard depth and Monk is an expiring deal while Bamba has an extra year left.

However ... if Monk should prove valuable we might have to resign him for more years and / or more $$ than Bamba.

... I’m not really a fan of this deal but it’s worth discussing given how things are playing out.

I'm sure reuniting monk and Clifford is a great idea

This team is so bad that we no longer need to trade Vuc. In fact, even I wouldn’t trade him unless I could get back a very promising young player back. We’re going to be a bottom 8 team. Hopefully the the ping pong balls will be kind to us this time.

Still wouldn’t hurt to rest Vuc more often in the hopes of elongating his prime years a little. That’s a thing right?

Absolutely...and get Mo some run, if nothing else to raise his trade value

From the flashes Mo has shown last few games I would be very hesitant in trading him. His ceiling is still very high. Must get Birch’s minutes.

Orlando is now an overall -4 team. We fans should be thrilled with the overall record given the blow-out losses that are pilling up.

He is a league leader in something called "Screened-assists".
The point is that Birch knows his role and plays to his strengths. And that is why ...

Still think the minutes should be going to Bamba.

... Birch gets more minutes than Bamba. When Bamba stops forcing his game and starts playing to his own strengths, he will get the Birch minutes. Off-season is were a player develops new skills (and show them off in camp and the pre-season). Within the season, a player needs to simplify and play one's game: only. The players that are exceptions to this rule are the Super-stars.

In last 3 games along teams made 34 threes more than Magic.
That's 102 points swing,34 points per game difference.

Magic can't shoot 3s because of their dead floor spacing. Evan fixes lot of it by just existing as teams overreact as soon as he gets open.

Only pure haters ( or ones who don't understand concept of basketball ) can't understand why guys like Evan, Ross, Seth Curry, Huerter, Mills and many other shooters have great value, even in possessions when they don't even touch the ball.
