George Hill not happy about COVID protocols

The COVID situation has gotten out of control within the Nba and it’s clearly obvious teams/nba can’t control what players do in their own time . Seems like players are also frustrated.

We might get a notice that season is suspended if it keeps going like this.

Don't even think about responding to this thread if you haven't read THIS. We will not be tolerating any covid discussion trainwrecks on the GB. This thread will get locked and strikes will be handed out if people ignore the guidelines put in place. George Hill is going to be tweeting about how he's not happy with the General Board covid protocols if people can't figure this out.

They need to bubble up. Either that or levy big fines for violations.

Would he be ok with not playing if they didn't get paid?

No not we. Maybe "you" shouldn't be playing George. Alot of nfl players sat out for that reason. You wanted to protest in the bubble anyways. Give your check up and sit out with your family since you want to do whatever you want.

It's also funny how some of these dudes talk like they are lebron. Newsflash, the league or fans won't miss you, George. The NBA has a serious problem. Even role players are talking big and calling shots.

Do these guys think that the NBA wants to do this? They are actually doing it to keep your family safe, George. They are losing a ton of money doing these things

You can't run a bubble for a whole season. It's impossible

Contrast this with what Dame said today. Would George Hill be saying this if he was on the Lakers?

I like George a lot. Cool guy, has a ranch for a home with lots of wild animals. Family guy too.

But, he's in a union and under contract. Why didn't he voice this with the union before agreeing to it?

Haven't heard any objections from the union, what are they doing?

He's a grown man, sure. He doesn't have to play. If he can't follow the protocols, I can understand that, it sucks. It is part of the business right now though. Everybody has to do their own cost benefit analysis until this nightmare is over.

He's a physically grown man but his wisdom still has catching up to do.

Pay me 15k a game(minimum salary) and I'll gladly live in a prison cell rest of season.

One person doesn't decide how a union votes. Perhaps he did raise his concerns, but he was overruled. There's no way for us to know at the moment.

I'm not sure why he feels this way. Players cannot do whatever they want because it can jeopardize their contract. This is a unprecedented situation and sacrifices have to be made. Either you sit out without getting paid, to be with your family, or follow the protocols. Can't have it both ways now.

Don’t play then George Hill.

Your employer has set the rules, if you don’t like it you can always play in an organisation that doesn’t have covid protocols.

Every workplace has had to change the way they do business due to COVID. The NBA isn't some rare case. I can't just go to my employer "No, I don't like the rules you've put in place" or my ass would be fired.

He has a right not to play if he wants, but you better forfeit that money you're getting paid while you're at it.

I always thought Hill was one of the more mature ones.

Maybe he's cracked
