RIP to Tractor Taylor but he looks like he came back to life and grew a beard.

I'm sure what we get via tweet isn't the whole story, but man are there ever a lot of red flags.

Let's be the third team that gets something out of facilitating his move elsewhere. Feels like the TPE is made for this.

Agreed. Make a low ball offer for Harden because why not and then also be there to help facilitate a trade for a future pick or useful player.

How about we go see if can get Aaron Gordon cheap, to get someone with size to defend Giannis, Lebron, Kawhi, Adebayo, Simmons, and who will also not be a total non-factor on offense?

TPE (18,1), Boston 2021 1st, Houston 2023 2nd for Aaron Gordon
Afterwards the Magic will get Daniel Theis with the TPE they just created

Essentially it will be Theis, Boston 2021 st, Houston 2023 2nd for Aaron Gordon

By moving Theis, we won't be in luxury tax this year

Wall ate this dude for lunch at the presser. That's what a real leader is supposed to look like..not your so called leader who 'did everything he could for the franchise'..lol what a joke.

James Harden is a grade A piece of ****. A fat, old one at that.

Yeah John Wall the Great Leader who consistently led his team to 1st round exits in the East. I wish we had a guy like him on our team instead of a top 5 scorer ever.

Hot take:

Harden isn’t really fat. He’s wearing tighter colored jumpsuits. If you look at him in game he looks a little bigger but the dude can still move.

Even hotter take:

He’s doing it on purpose to lower his value and get sent somewhere faster.

It's like if you have a girlfriend that you want to break up with but don't have the balls to pull the trigger, you just lower your own value by showing her less attention and getting fat.

I mean... if you don't have serious reservations about James Harden, I don't know what to tell you. This would not be trading for Anthony Davis. This is very Kyrie-esque. And Kyrie didn't have the baggage Harden does when we got him.

Where we are now with harden was inevitable....nothing has changed on his side. He turned down an extension, went public with demands, had 1 destination, increased his trade list and then the rockets leak yesterday they think they can keep him through the year.

The next day he comes out publicly and says he wants out. There was only a limited time things were going to remain civil. A week ago this was so obvious to see. Philly or Miami will get him much cheaper than before with denver also as a possibility

I'm not sure where I stand at this point, but Harden is on a different tier than Kyrie was/is.

Also true. But this is a high ceiling, low floor move.

Here's the thing. The baggage is why you have a chance to you get him. Since 2015, James Harden has averaged 31.6 PPG, while maintaining a TS% of .614 as a guard. If we weren't a gigantic b!tch... he wouldn't be going anywhere.

I get why one would be worried. And we've been burned recently by Kyrie. But where else are you going to get a player of that caliber? Is the goal to position the Celtics to be a FA destination for a disgruntled MVP-type in a few years, who wants to team up with Tatum? Develop Brown and Tatum and trade one? There's no perfect plan - the Celts are going to have to take risks. It's a matter of judging the risk/reward involved.

The floor for a team with Harden + one star + scrubs appears to be 2nd round in the Western Conference.

It might, but there's a chance it's not the floor but the ceiling... maybe they overachieved all those years
