What a game. It didn't look like the Houston players even want to be on the court. When James took that 3pointer and turned the other way it was over  What a show !

Sooner than later LeBron reaches a point with every team where he has them figured out and then he proceeds to mock them mercilessly to show that they have nothing to surprise him. He reached that point with Houston today.

They always say that the second championship is the harder one of the set (if they can achieve the 2nd) because so many team members get complacent and entitled over the long haul of the second season.

I think the Rockets let off the gas pedal a bit to ease THT into the NBA scene .

Was that about the layup blocked by AD?

Exactly. It was the second layup that was blocked by AD. That looked like a bad idea from the beginning lol

Idk AD's reasons for the subdued start to the season. Could be any combination of the following -
- AD's nursing a little niggle since the beginning of the season
- he's just taking his own sweet time to get back to his best shape before he starts going all out / just taking it easy on his body because he can
- he's just displaying excellent leadership letting the reloaded supporting get some shine to help them settle in

I know what you're saying about complacency setting into Champion teams, but I like where the team is mentally too.
- The new guys + Kuz, THT are trying to prove that they belong
- Morris, Gasol, Wes & Trez are taking less money to be here, which removes any question marks from their motivation levels
- Bron & AD are posessed by their legacies
- Competition for minutes is a further motivator for all.
- There is no drama or insecurity in the locker room

We good man! I can easily see this team going on a run of 25-30 wins around mid season if they choose to do so.
