All that work for a 12-15 PPG guy with no jumper who can't even shoot free throws. Might as well just keep Elfrid Payton and the rest of those guys.

If it just took Elf and RJ, I'd do it, because RJ sucks and Simmons is Super Elf.

And since we've been told how good Elf is lately, I'll take Elf plus 5 inches taller, better defense, better passer.

He's actually worse than Payton on offense, for all his faults at least Payton will take the corner three if it's open and spaces to the corner or wings. Simmons when he's off the ball will just go to the dunkers spot, doesn't matter who is there, it would be the same exact thing that happened to the Sixers last year. You'd see Mitch, Randle and Simmons all within 5 feet of the rim, just like how Horford, Embiid and Simmons were, except we don't have an Embiid type of offensive talent.

I'd trade Mitch after I traded Payton and R(no)J and Randle.

Randle and LeVert are both kinda in the same vein for me

Both have skill sets of stars, but neither are really good enough to be stars (unless Randle keeps this up all year, which I have reservations about)

It'd be kind of a lateral move at best. I guess you could argue we get more perimeter shot creation, which we need, but I doubt it really changes our record much

KD and Harden are already pretty old. KD and Kyrie are both injury prone.

Plus there is Kyrie factor when no one knows what the hell hes gonna do in a year or two.

I'd rather have Mitch than Simmons at this point, I know what Mitch is and he's not locked into a 5 year $170 million deal. The only way for Simmons to be really effective on offense is to play him at C, and build around him like he's a rim runner. He could probably be a supercharged Bam on offense, but he doesn't give you that type of rim protection.

you gotta pay jarrett allen next year and you just paid wood. dinwiddie is a free agent coming off a major injury. so james harden for caris lavert and joe harris and some picks that will never be in the lottery. that's terrible.
