Yay!!!! In 2024 we can compete

We are competing right now without Kemba

I mean, I know the season and weird and all, but they have the 12th best point differential in the league so far. They’ve been up and down, which is to be expected. But the Nets are in a different league now*.

Welp, Pacers got what they wanted. Good get by them. Let's see what you get with the TPE, Ainge. These teams making moves and Danny has a big chip here. Don't be cute and use it when you can.

Good for the Pacers, GREAT for the Rockets , but this is a fail for the Nets. Kyrie and Harden on the same team? Lol. Good luck. Implosion waiting to happen Imo.

Nets had to go all in. They have a top 5 player in Durant and a top 15 in Irving.

They just acquired another top 5 player, barring injuries it’s hard to see them lose out in the East.

Sure they might give up 140 a game but they’ll put up 160.

they had to take on the awful Prince and his contract plus trade a 1st? How is that "change". And Allen is a RFA. Yes they can match but he's going to get paid. So CLE likely will match and overpay for a limited center. He's not moving the needle for them but he sure would have helped here especially this season.

Two guys coming off injury and another a Twinkie short of his ankles breaking. I sure don't fear the Nets this year.

I want to believe you. One of those guys coming off injury is putting up 30/8/6 on 68% TS

Houston caved.

With that said, at least one of those picks/swaps should hit paydirt.

Talk about an all in moment by the Nets. The problem is in the NBA the other teams don't fold preflop to improve your odds but I'll give them props for ballsiness. It kind of makes it all the more amazing that Toronto got Kawhi for the price they paid and won a 'ship with him, if the Nets don't win a ring in the next couple of seasons they are probably looking at a decade until they can put something back together.

No, now it’s perennial 2 seed talk lol

You said we were a 5 seed with no Hayward and no Kemba and we’re currently first in the conference

I actually said 4-5 seed...didn’t know season ended after 10 games. I also actually said no way we should re- sign Hayward to that deal so not sure where Hayward comes into it. I said the half court offense without kemba would be an issue but let’s be real they are 7-3 and won 3 games on the last shot.

This team can finish as a 1 seed in the regular season it’s not making the finals without major injuries that was before the nets trade. If u think that’s competing it says more about you then me.

Yes I think they did this because they had to. Durant would have asked out with no Kyrie and no Harden. Now he will stay even if Kyrie does retire.

Meh, our point differential would be much higher if the scrubs could hold leads at the end of games. It will also rise with Kemba back and the death of the double big lineup. I say bring on the Nets and let’s see what happens

We will see.

If you are going to go all in then the starting 5 below is worth a shot. Will be interesting to see how they fill in the rest of the roster.

Kyrie
Harden
Harris
Kd
Jordan

Who the hell is left on the Nets now?

Harden
Kyrie
KD
Joe Harris
DeAndre Jordan

Bench of:
TLC
Jeff Green
Shamet
Bruce Brown
Tyler Johnson
Nicolas Claxton
Dinwiddie (IR)

Is that right?

**** it. If it can’t be us then I’m fine with KD taking the crown off Lebron. He can keep it warm for JT.

Brad loves the double big lineup. Soon it will
just be Kemba/Jaylen/Tatum/Theis/Tristan.

Embrace the dark side.
