Rockets got crushed here. Nets basically gave Allen and Levert + 7 1sts (3 legit 1sts, 4 swaps that are unlikely) for Harden.

Then they swapped out Allen for a MIL 2022 1st and moved LeVert for the injured Oladipo.. what??

What a fall from grace. There's no Morey there anymore, thats for sure

Wow. Given the current circumstances, this is an amazing haul for the Rox. And probably a can't miss trainwreck for the Nets. Not only are you giving up LeVert, Allen, and all the picks, you're putting 2 of the league's biggest head cases together (along with the sensitive KD), good luck with that. It's an elite big 3, sure, but it won't end well.

I don't know, I actually see it as a good deal for them, considering. Harden has been a cancer lately and the situation was only deteriorating...and along with it, his trade value.

It would have been had they kept the assets they were given.. moving Allen for essentially a late 1st.. moving Levert for expiring Oladipo? WTF are they thinking?

Nets 24/26 1sts might be gold, but everything else.. its just filler. Dipo is gonna want a huge contract, and would you want to give it to him? I wouldn't

I'm calling it, the Nets will be a high end trainwreck of epic proportions. This will be comedy gold.

Good luck Stevie Nash.

Yeah, a lot will depend on how the picks pan out, they could be nearly worthless or as you say, gold. But I don't think the Rox had too many options and it was increasingly looking like retaining Harden was definitely not one of them.

Cavs probably made out better than anyone.

Big time.

They now have Drummond, Allen, Javale, Love and Nance up front.

Drummond and Love have to be on the block. The Cavs rebuild looking better.

I have it:

1) Cavs
2) Pacers
3) Brooklyn strip club scene
4) anyone who bet against the Nets
5) Nets
6) Rockets
7) Steve Nash

Nets made an all-in move. If they don't at least win the East, this move will be a big failure.

They better hope that KD's Achilles holds up and that Kyrie gets his head out of his ass. Then they have to try to outscore other teams with elite shotmaking.

Otherwise, I think all their contracts expire in a year or two but they don't want to blow it all up because of all the picks they gave up. They will want those picks to be mid to late 20s picks.

For the Warriors, they definitely don't have to worry about Houston this year or next for a playoffs spot? They may even be ready to get rid of contracts.

Nets and clippers are so screwed for the rest of this decade

I don’t see championships coming their way unless the competition (see GSW) has bad injury luck

You know they should see if Phil Jackson would be willing to come out of retirement to coach them. He is supposed to be fantastic at managing personalities. The whole Kyrie fiasco is showing us that Nash does not have what it takes to reign this guy in. It's like Kyrie, KD, and Harden are just looking for some sort of father figure they can all buy into.

Their pick this year is top 4 protected. They know they can't compete, I think they'll try to tank as hard as possible.
