Couldn't we have tried to add Larry Nance or something? Man.... :-?

I really don't know how to feel. I feel a crap ton of anxiety over this when I probably should be screaming my head off in joy. I think the PTSD from the Boston trade has me messed up.

Honestly, trading Kyrie might make the most sense at this point.

We need to find a center ASAP. More has to be on the horizon because DJ is not the guy you want next to a Kyrie/Harden back court.

Kyrie/Brown
Harris/Shamet
Harden/TLC
Durant/Green
DJ/Claxton/Perry

Crazy thing is if Dinwiddie was healthy, we'd be pretty damn deep. Now, we're still pretty damn solid outside of our 3 stars. Just a big hole at C.

The fact that those picks don't have protections is the thing that has me feeling nervous about this.

We'll need to definitely restock some depth.

Sean Marks is either confident he can retool without picks again

or he's pulling a Magic - "I'm not gonna be here for all that"

I kinda think it's the latter. If this fails to yield a championship, he's probably not getting his contract renewed.

This leaves us with Deandre and Green at the 5 spot......that is going to have to be addressed soon or later.

Yeah I'm sure those 8 picks won't come back to haunt us

Great can't wait to watch DeAndre Jordan play 30+ mins a night now, but at least we'll score 160 points every night as KD and Harden take turns going iso

I think it's 7 of our picks with one from Cleveland. Yes, I know it doesn't make it THAT much better for you.

Claxton can't come back soon enough. Wish somehow Nets got another big in this deal.

I really wanted PJ Tucker. He is the starting caliber 3&D player we'd really benefit from having on the squad.

Kyrie can do whatever he wants now, Harden and Durant are an unstoppable combination. I'm over him and his crap.

Pretty sure everyone here did. In the back of my mind, I wonder if luxury tax played a role there.

I think it was Zach Lowe. I remember listening to his podcast when he said this and I was bewildered.

Sure, Tyler Herro is a good player. I could certainly listen to someone argue that he is better than Levert or Allen as individual players, but not as a package of all that the Nets could offer. He was drinking the recency bias Kool-Aid hard.

We need a backup PG and we need a big. I think Tyler Johnson when he gets back can be a solid backup PG, while Brown and Shamet play some spot minutes there.

Gotta find a diamond in the rough big though imo.

You guys thought this defense was painful to watch before? LOL, check it out without Allen now, and with DJ getting the majority of the minutes now.

The positive is all 3 of these guys are either at the beginning of their prime kyrie middle of their prime harden or the tale end of the middle of their prime

Should be interesting

What 4 free agents are even available I loathe to mention his name but lin might be a realistic option

Maybe they can sign an international player or g league player

I forgot about Tyler. He should be OK as a backup. With everyone healthy, we can run 48 minutes of either Kyrie or Harden at PG. So it's not a big deal. Brown/TJ are fine for emergencies.

Center is the big story. I don't know where we find a starting caliber center. We just need someone that won't kill us lol

Can't be scared of the tax now, we're balls deep in it. It's win or bust.
