It's not the same as the Pierce/KG trade, because they're legitimate contenders now without question, if not favorites, but it does have the potential to be just as costly.

The Cavs involvement in this is wild to me.

The Rockets would essentially rather the Bucks 22 1st and Rodions Kurucs instead of Allen and Prince. Allen and Wood should be a pretty decent fit I'd think;

Allen/Cousins
Wood/Prince/Karucs
Tucker/House
Oladipo/Exum
Wall/Gordon

Its still a pretty good team, and with all the picks, they would have plenty to get better, but definitely not a contender.

Instead it seems like the Rockets are just gonna be looking for capspace. They are gonna let Oladipo expire and I would imagine they try to move Wall/Gordon too with the picks they just got. Seems kind of ridiculous, but Fertitta is a cheap mf'er so it's what I expect.

Something even more evident by this trade is just how cheap Fertitta truly is. Allen and LeVert are obviously better value than Oladipo and the other guys but he doesn't want to pay any of them. It's not a good sign for the future.
