Re: Bucks News, Trade Ideas, Transactions
I'm wondering what it would take at this point for people to conclude that Harden is just a garbage teammate with garbage work ethic and isn't worth nuking your locker room over now that he's on the wrong side of 30 and looks to be eating himself out of his prime.
The whole "he still shows up and plays like a superstar" isn't even true anymore when he's out there looking like the Bartolo Colon of NBA shooting guards. I don't care if he goes to Philly or Brooklyn and wins a championship in the process. Can't imagine being a fan of competitive sports and abandoning everything I value just to root for an entitled douche bag of his caliber, bandwagon-ing himself to a ring.

This. For the Bucks, Harden coming to the Eastern Conference is, at worst, neutral in the short term and a benefit in the long term.

I still want Harden if it's at all possible.

Depending on how it shakes out, this could be a really intense Good/Evil playoff run. First against Kyrie/Durant and then Harden Embiid. Wouldn't be excited to have to play them as someone that just wants the easiest path to a championship, but it will be exciting as hell

Can't lie, I'd feel better about the 6ers getting Harden if we still had Bled.

I’m on the boat of people who originally wanted harden and made a sharp turn on that idea. The guy is an **** who is acting childish because he didn’t get his way. Not a chance we need that kind of guy around.

Doesn't really seem like the Nets gave up all that much.

Thon hasn't gotten any better since he's been in the NBA. How is that possible for someone so young?

Fun fact: We can now trade the 2021 & 2023 1STs to Houston if we get the 2022 1ST back. Don't think they have a singular player they're willing to trade that's worth it and who we can match, but it's definately something to think about.

Add a 3rd team?
Dealing with people who exhibit the "smartest person in the room" syndrome can be a challenge. One approach is to listen their opinion while also encouraging open-mindedness. It's important to create an environment where all voices are valued.

I'd bet on Larry Nance looking better on our team than Brook right now and I like Brook.
