Re: NBA Trade Thread #2
The Nets are trading for All-NBA star James Harden and sending four first-round picks and four draft swaps to the Rockets, sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium. Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen are being moved -- could be another team or two involved.

AK should get involved and land J. Allen, price was pretty low for him.. Jarrett would be much better for us at C.

Re: NBA Trade Thread #2
If the wizards move on from beal and kick off a sort of rebuild i would really like to get on a small deal that I believe could help the bulls fix some holes and make a playoff push
Tomas satoransky, Chandler Hutchison and a 2nd rd pick
To wizards
For ish Smith and Robin lopez
Wizards do it to get a young prospect and a pick
We do it to bring in a much needed vet pg who can initiate and run the offense and a big who sets great screens rebounds well and can protect the rim.
Small deal but could help us greatly

Re: NBA Trade Thread #2
Does the Allen trade give a clearer insight into Lauri's value? Cavs sent out an expiring, a projected late first, and a 2nd. Do we think Lauri's value is higher or lower than Allen's?

Rim running centers that can't shoot don't have much value. I'm positive that Lauri has more value around the league.

Allen is a traditional big. lauri is a stretch 4 in a kevin love mold.
if anything, it tells carter's value has nothing to do with lauri.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

Good question, and one I had not thought of. With the premium on shooting, I’d like to think Lauri would be valued a bit higher.

IDK, I'd call their value even given Lauri's less consistent performance and trajectory.

Do the Nets need a cheap center? Do they still have 2nd rounders?
I gotta be honest, Gafford would fit like a glove there, but I don't think they have any assets left.

They have several decent 2nd rounders actually.
A Hawks 2nd, Suns 2nd, Pacers 2nd, and the 2025 Warriors 2nd.
Would definitely flip Gafford for some of these.

Me too. A couple of good 2nd rounders is probably the best you're gonna get for a backup 5.

The trade to do with them is for Dinwiddie. He's not helpful this year. Gafford, Val plus Arci for Dinwiddie works $-wise.
