Rockets fans are in denial here. They've been in denial for half a decade with their belief that Harden was good enough to be the top guy on a champion.
I'll say this, the Rockets didn't get completely fleeced. Depending on the Nets' moves going forward, the Rockets could have a steady stream of talent coming to Houston over the next several years and amass a talented roster similar to what Boston did. The Rockets said they wanted a franchise cornerstone though. They didn't get one, and they still have to pay John Wall $40+ million for three more seasons.
