To the Australian, Brazilian, Canadian, and other outside the US posters, how’s the vaccine distribution going in your countries? I read in the Miami Herald people are flocking to Florida to get vaccinated because of poor roll outs in other countries.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/world/americas/article248347830.html

Roll-out is going slow in Australia, essential workers first, etc. but we had like 20 new cases across all of Australia yesterday - we’re doing a lot better than most countries.

Since about October we’ve been pretty steadily below 30 per day, with most of them coming from people returning from overseas with it. Our community transmission is essentially zero, in most states.

We do have some people who can’t do the right thing, but for the most part Aussies have worked together to minimise the impact, and our economy have reaped the benefits (especially in my home state of WA).

I was afraid of this, but because of Kyrie situation this team is still volatile and we'll see. they'll need a body or two via buyouts but that won't be hard anymore.

I'd say Lakers have a slight edge ONLY this szn as long as LeBron doesn't cliff. Because they have better depths and a better duo that compliments each other better. KD Harden Kyrie will always overlap and not all 3 of them will click in a game often and there will be a lot of dramas (if that's not too obvious). Lakers also have an experience getting through a bubble playoffs, which might happen again and Nets trio will probably not do so well (esp. Kyrie). After this szn it'll be decisively Nets imo, but who knows with those 3. If Kyrie wasn't  I'd trade him for pieces but it might be difficult for now.

Truth. I expect this big boy to give Harden a hard foul next time they meet. that's all he does these days anyways but should be fun

I looks like the Rockets did OK for a team with "no leverage".

Did they really? Is post injury Oladipo that big of a win for them? And he's a free agent in 5 months too.

He's the best proven piece they got, everything else is a crap shot in the draft.

Definitely going to be rebuilding for the long haul.

Chance the nets blow up cause of ego/weirdos and those later first could be higher.
If not, they let an elite score go for not too much

Definitely curious to see what was Rileys best offer

I guess Rockets didn't want LeVert? A little head scratcher but they might want to see if there is something they can do with Wall and Dipo. If not he's off the book and they go on with the rebuild.

Yeah I think Houston got killed in this trade.

4FRPs that will very likely be #27-30 even in 2026 and 4 pick swaps that will be useless because Rockets wont be better than the Nets and if somehow they are they will be able to move what up 1-2 spots late in the first round?...

Unless Oladipo committed to sign long term already I don't imagine Oladipo signing up to play with injury riddled Wall and Cousins through his prime years contract.

So in the end Houston might only end up with Exum, Kurucs and 4 late FRPs and 4 useless pick swaps for Harden... Thats an awful package for Harden if that's what it ends up being.

It's tough, I just can't see anyone effectively guarding Harden/KD; like if you double, you're phucked,if you try single coverage you're phucked. How do you guard them dudes? I'm alone, but I'm much more afraid of KD/Harden than I am AD/Bron. I don't even know how to add Myrie into the equation, wouldn't see him as a negative tho.

I feel like those three could be closer to GS big 3, than ours

Not a Nets fan yet, but I always wanted to see KD/Harden together even before KD went to BK... If they help deprive Bron of another ring:

they are def. closer to GS big 3 probably more powerful yet worse fit. one of them isn't even interested in playing basketball right now though lmao what an entertainment.

i was kinda skeptic and not afraid, but after seeing that KD is like 90% byke, I'm surprised Houston gave in so quickly to THAT team. I guess they truly DGAF anymore. well played James. I won't fault AirP to freak the phuck out or anyone else who might jump off the cliff. But I trust Kyrie to phuck this up somehow so much.

KD should not get any hate for this move no matter how involved he is or not. LeBron basically stole AD from Pelifans and OKC FRP addiction away from getting Kawhi as well. Now that's real phucked up and just because he couldn't pull it off intentions are the same.

Hoping for a disaster might be the only way to stop them from going to the finals

KD might have to give up the most of his touches, but him off ball, with Beard at the key-- oof
