Splash Bros were both drafted by Ws.

Year before that - Spurs. All major players were drafted (or "drafted" in Kawhi's case) by Spurs.

So, if that's what you mean, yeah it'll probably happen again :dontknow:
BAF Clippers
PG: CP3 | SGA
SG: SGA | Big Ragu
SF: J Brown | Dorture Chamber
PF: Gordon | Niang
C: Capela | Sharpe

Deep Bench - Forrest | Oladipo | Fernando | Young | Svi | Cody Martin

Kareem forced his way out to end up there.

By the standard people are setting here, the Lakers haven't done it since they were in Minneapolis. Which just further validates how they operate, really.

Warriors pre KD I'd say.

Technically, the Cavs drafted both Kyrie and LeBron too.

Warriors pre KD I'd say.

Bogut was the centrepiece of that defense in 2015.

I'd probably say one of the Spurs teams

But it's been good for business for them so far, right?

I'm not sure we've reached the tipping point where it affects the bottom line yet.

A lot of people love all the movement. And the more routine it becomes... the tendency to just accept it grows.

I don't think the newer owners really care. After the "Decision" I recall there were a lot of older & small market owners who were really pissed. I will say though that the league did dodge a bullet by Giannis resigning in Milwaukee because if he would've left for Miami, GS, or a bigger market than I think the owners(especially small markets) are bringing the ruckus come the next CBA

That has nothing to do with them being inorganic

LeBron signed there and then AD forced his way there

OP is talking about teams that had homegrown talent lead them to a championship, like the 15 Warriors, 14 Spurs, and 11 Mavs.

Lol - way to cherry pick those teams hoping they are far enough away...

Mavs got Shawn Marion, Peja, Kidd, Chandler, Stevenson via FA or trade.

Warriors signed Iggy that unlocked their death lineup... signed david lee... 14 spurs got boris diaw, marco belleneli, mills in FA... traded hill for Kawhi...

stop this revisionist history. there are no truly organic champs

no such thing to begin, if Organic means a team full of your own draft picks that you developed....LA won with Pau/Odom via trade, GSW won with Iggy a FA acquisition, and folks really mentioning Dirks mavs? as if Kidd, Chandler, Peja and the rest of the crew were Dall own drafted players?

I dont understand "organic", like the Raptors were pretty much organic to the core, building up year over year slowly getting better and then they traded JV and Demar for Kawhi and Gasol that took them over the edge. But Kawhi left the next year and they were still 2nd in the NBA regular season, they just weren't championship caliber without Kawhi.

Yeah 1 in 30 team fans are happy about a championship, majority of the rest are not.

In reality, nobody has the right to define this concept universally. We all have opinions about it and everybody is right and wrong at the same time.

Basically your best players need to have been drafted by your team (Without forcing their way to your team like John Elway to Denver or Eli Manning to the Giants) So the Warriors were organic for their first title only, the Spurs were organic also. The Mavs I guess were organic, though I think the only impact guy they drafted was Dirk but he was by far their best player, none of their other guys were highly coveted at that point.

But who made Effigy the authority on defining what "organic" team building is? Free agent signings and trades are all part of championship team building. Even if you have a drafted superstar, you still need the right role players around them. Those get recruited, too. None of this is technically ORGANIC.

Not forcing your way out while still under contract for more than a year, not tanking your trade value, not killing any trade to a team who could offer a better package and still compete for a title..

you know...like the A.Davis trade, huh

You do understand the difference between a normal trade and "player xy wants out and is narrowing his list down to these 2-3 teams"-trades?

Yes, its an "organic" champ when they got their core in the draft or via normal trades. And not via forced trades or lame teaming up

You're getting too worked up over this. Who cares? You got your titles. They aren't worth less than organic titles, it's all good.
