I don't know that actor's name....but he totally stole that movie (which was good) and deserved a supporting oscar for that role. Dude was amazing in that flick.

Rocknroll music was so dope before they took the roll out.

ye same. who tf is going to guard AD lmao, he will feast on nets without Jarrett Allen. Nets have the better offence but not by that much. lakers have WAY better defence. people dont realize this but if anyone is going to bother durant on offence, its AD.

Harden, Kyrie and KD - probably the most talented trio in NBA history in one team, yet also the most weak-minded team in NBA history, again in one team.

It'll be fun in the beginning, and even more fun watching it then crumble.

More talented than Jordan, Pippen and Rodman or Lebron, Wade, Bosh ?

Was thinking the same thing. But they probably don't get Giannis to resign without it. It's like the Paul George deal. They gave up all those picks for George and Leonard so they could justify it.

Nets overpaid here too (that jrue trade probably hurt them) so I think they were getting desperate with Kyrie pulling a Kyrie.

This is a great point. That ridiculous Holiday trade became a benchmark for other GMs. I bet the rockets don't hold out as long for this package without that happening first. I bet in the FO of houston....every offer made was compared to the Holiday haul.

I don't understand why we couldn't ship norm for both of theses guys without the pick.

Norm + a 2nd rounder could have easily worked here. Would have been a much better balanced lineup.

Fred/ Flynn
Lowry/ Davis
OG/ Prince
Siakam/ Boucher
Allen/ Baynes

The obvious follow-up trade would be moving Irving for an all-star big, but I don't see a fit anywhere. Gobert would be the obvious choice but Utah isn't doing that.

And yes I'm aware that the politics of it (Durant colluding with Kyrie) means trading Kyrie likely doesn't happen. But if they lose this year that will be the obvious pressure point for change.

I gotta say. The haul of first rounders for a star player is insane.

Not a chance. The Nets are beyond stacked now, no one can match their fire power.

Kyrie/Harden/KD on paper should be better than Curry/Klay/KD, so I can't imagine how crazy they're going to look

Norm is not worth a late first and we're not getting a first for him when he's eventually dealt either.

Lowry is only worth a middle of road prospect + late first. We'll probably get no more than a late second for norm.

Man not getting Allen for that price hurts. All this garbage talk of tanking as if we are getting a top 5 pick is funny. I will be surprised if we finish with a pick in the top 10. We have to much talent and our team has way too much pride to mail it in. This is not the lineup that will tank. Imo

I don't know why Houston had to take this long for the deal, but this is great for every team. Like I said before, this is star based league and Harden has exceeded any expectation Houston has put on him winning MVPs and making Houston relevant as a contender every year. They should have moved him earlier to avoid the awkwardness.

Brooklyn has the best offensive team in the NBA on paper. I don't know how you stop KD, Harden and Kyrie. That is like the almost 90 PPG on court. Defense will be an issue, but not a problem for the regular season.

Indy getting Levert is a steal. What a great replacement for Dipo. I have always felt like Levert belongs on Indy. He used to wear Michigan colours that remind me of the Pacers. Pacers have really upgraded this year and if they get healthy they are a team to watch.

Houston got its picks and respectable return for Harden. I could see them flipping Dipo to a team like Toronto, but we will see how their season goes. Not a bad line-up to tank.

Yeah if you don't account for fit, system, defense, and established culture the Nets are way better.

They are going to be really good once they start picking the ring chasers. Already pretty much a lock for a Finals appearance outside injuries

Just imagine being Giannis reading the news and looking around the locker room to see Middleton and Holiday as his core around him for the foreseeable future
