I don’t want Lebron winning 6+ rings.

Seriously fk Lebron. I’ll never understand how a bulls fan can ever root for that guy.

I'm hoping the Bucks or Celtics can knock them out. I wish Miami had upgraded somehow- then again Jimmy can't guard all three of them.

If it's Lakers Nets in the finals, I might have to spend a week in a cabin with no internet like I did for the election night and following day.

Time will tell if this will work or not but compared to what the nets had all these last years this is great for them. They turned a bad team into a super team with having 3 top players in the league. This is something the Knicks have been dreaming of for many years but Brooklyn was the one who actually did it.

On paper they look great but again let’s see if it actually works. The fit isn’t the best, all 3 are ball dominant that don’t defend much. They are very talented though so that can be enough to go all the way.

Oladipo's a one hit wonder whose career except for one season is pretty blah.

Too bad for the Rockets they gave up several 1sts previously. If they are bad, they don't even have their own pick, like this year for example. As for the trade today, can't expect much more. Durant and Irving and harden could all be gone soon, those future BK picks could be great. And they get them every year.

You mean Noah Vonleh, right? Because Jo is done.

They should also sign Waiters for a bench gunner.

Why? He’s a model citizen. The best player of his generation. Given generously to the community. Works his ass off. I saw greatness in Jordan, now it’s in LeBron. Why should I dislike him?

I reserve my dislike for people who earn it. God knows there are enough.

Vonleh would be fine. I don't even think Noah is done either.

They don't need bench gunners.

They obviously have the offensive talent if Kyrie gets over whatever the heck is going on with him and if Harden gets himself back into shape. I think there's a really high variability of outcomes here. I could totally see this group winning a title or completely imploding.

im sure espn will make the nets seem like the greatest team ever assembled, because their bbiq is on par with how 2k works. Lakers gunna win b2b, but im really puling for a Greek Miracle.

Brooklyn will be able to get some decent veterans from the buyout market I’d imagine. The depth stuff is overblown. The most important thing with them is Durants health 1st, and Kyrie getting back on the court 2nd.

I hope they smash the Lakers in the finals.

Nets should ship Kyrie to the Nuggets for Jamal Murray, if the Nugs are willing to make that gamble.

Or to Phoenix for CP3 in a gamble for both teams. Or even to the Spurs for a mix of players - DeJounte, Vassell, +... Pop has dealt with plenty of head-cases (remember Stephen Jackson).

Easily the most unlikeable team of all team with 3 of the biggest divas in the league in Irving/Harden/Durant. If the Nets don't win at least 2 championships out of this then they lost this trade IMO

To be fair (to be fairrrrrrr), their headline article grading the trade gave the Nets a D+.

I don't expect Irving to be long on that team. Reports earlier in the season were that he wasn't excited about Harden. Now he is gone for personal reasons AND he has this Covid protocol issue. If the Nets want to win this can't happen from one of their stars. Loose Irving, loose the drama. Trade him for a decent 2 guard and get some picks back. Let Harden play point.

Since when is LeVert better than oladipo ?? He had a long term injury obviously but he’s been good so far this season.

Oladipo was known to be upset about his new role in Indy and wasn't going to re-sign.

Fertitta is cheap and is going to pay the repeater tax if he can't shed the money.

Dipo and Exum are both expiring contracts.

Indy gets a guy who is on a new deal and unloads an expiring on a team who needs to shed contracts.

Tim Fertitta makes makes Reinsdorf look like a big spender. Not really but damn he is cheap.
