Thanks for the tip, very easy, everything is shown.

Is there any way to get some picks from OKC? Doesnt Weaver have a connection?

I mean can they even add that many 1st round picks to their team next year? They are set after this upcoming draft haul for prime time, with a bunch of up and comers, plus three 1st round picks in a deep draft.

That tankathon site is a great visual reminder that it doesn’t really matter that much where in the bottom 4 or so you are, at least in terms of odds for top 4.

I'm concerned yes. We've beat the Celtics and Jazz already. We've started a bunch of games of awful but usually we fight back in them. Our coach is surely not trying to tank whatsoever.

This is why some of our offseason moves worried me. They werent commit to tanking this year moves. By far the most important thing for us this season and next year is get good draft picks. Nothing else matters. This season in particular being in the top 5 is very important.

What are you worried about exactly? They're 2-8 and still have a tough slate of games coming up even with some COVID ravaged rosters on the horizon.

I want them to get the highest draft pick possible too but there's nothing wrong with the coach trying to win games, that's his job. Not every coach is a loser like Doug Pederson who plays far worse players on purpose for a higher draft pick.

I'm not the biggest Casey fan but he's been giving minutes to the young players who deserve it. Bey has gotten more minutes as the season has progressed, Stewart more, Jackson more before he got injured, Okfaor and Sekou less, Svi depending on his shot falling, Hayes started every game. He's doing what any coach would do, reward the players who deserve it and bench the ones who don't.
A lot of the vets are playing down the stretch because, quite frankly, none of the young players outside of Bey have deserved to play down the stretch.

On another note, it would be an absolute misery if the team got blown out most nights. We all want the higher draft pick but I also want to see my favorite team be competitive most nights. So far, it's playing out as well as we could have hoped outside of the Hayes situation.

I think my comment clearly states what I'm worried about. All I care about this season and next season is getting franchise players in the draft. I want the dead worst record in the league so we cant drop pass 5. I'm not concerned with short term entertainment I want to win a title. I'm watching more college then NBA for entertainment this season to watch the prospects we have available to us anyways. I'm sick of being not relevant in the NBA.

Coaches like Doug Pederson are the perfect example of what other teams will do to cement draft positions. Its funny you call him a "loser" when hes won a title something Casey has never done. I want a guy on my team capable of doing this. I can't wait to fire Casey and get a better coach for rebuilding my team.

Not to go off topic for long but the Lions should pray to God to get a coach like Doug Pederson, and Pederson should enjoy his two year paid vacation rather than go to a garbage organization like the Lions.

Evan Mobley with 16 9 2 and 6 blocks in OT right now. This kids rim protection is elite.

edit- Finished with 20-11-6 blocks 8-12 shooting. Hes the clear number 2 prospect at this point.

I'm kinda thinking that we'll do with Casey what the Raptors did.

He can develop the guys, make them earn their minutes but when the team is actually at that level of ECF contention we'll fire him.

Thunder and Cavs both lost, too bad.

Tonight, there's an interesting Wolves vs. Grizzlies and we surely must lose against Bucks.

So who's the consensus pick around here? I haven't dived into next years draft prospects yet(I have seen some, and even some of 2021. The stick kid is intriguing 7 footer plays like a gaurd)so eventually i want to know who to get really excited about at the 7th pick again. :(

As of now I think its

Cade
Mobley
Suggs

With Green being the wildcard that could go anywhere. Cade is a pretty legit #1 though as of now, hes looking like a possible superstar
