Re: Harden trade Dilemma
I shouldn't care but it pisses me off because EVERY time someone offered something like Wiggins, Wiseman and future picks the Houston fans would call it crap. "Not even CLOSE to Harden's value"
Then they get this crap lol
I'm guessing that there was a trade offer at some point better than what they got....they sat on the options too long and got desperate.
Serve's them right.

I hope the Rockets tank so we can grab Tucker who would be a really interesting addition here. But I think they will actually try to get into the playoffs.

Geez, Rox could have got something better for LeVert and Allen surely.

Harden's plan worked to perfection! The initial offer to Philly was Simmons and multiple picks. After Philly wouldn't bite, Harden came back to ball-out in his first game then forced Houston to trade him by giving the most disgruntled post-game interview ever lol.

Re: Harden trade Dilemma
Durant, Harden, Irving
vs
Durant, Klay, Curry
It will be interesting to see if Draymond and defense determines the different between the success of these two super teams. Many of the fans on other teams don't appreciate Draymond....but I guarantee you that if you put him on the first team....they win it all. Without him there is doubt for sure.

Re: Harden trade Dilemma
Need us to jump in there and go get PJ Tucker for our DPE.
Gives them straight up salary saving. Add toughness, veteran leadership, shooting, and bolsters the front line and wing.
He can mesh with either Draymond or Paschall, or even Wiseman.
He helps space the floor which in turn helps Steph. Fits under the DPE. Would not add our first.

Re: Harden trade Dilemma
I don't even look at the players in the trade. 4 first round picks and 4 right to swap 1st round picks. That's huge. Houston got way more than I would ever give for Harden. Nets are not going to win a championship with him.

the Nets and Clippers are each one *older player* injury away from being totally irrelevant franchises until at least 2030 something

Re: Harden trade Dilemma
Draft day Lebron James is not worth such a package. It's not because Lebron isn't worth the raw value, it's that you can't keep him on your team for 8 seasons if you are giving all your picks away. This is going to work out just like the last time the Nets built a superteam.

I have no idea why American Airlines and the Houston Rockets received massive bailouts..Both are horribly run businesses..
Good to see the Nets and Clippers living down to their past ..

It’ll be worth it if they win just 1 championship...
