GT: Game #12 - Charlotte Vs Dallas (Jan 13th)

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Tue Jan 12, 2021 6:25 pm

With the situation in Dallas will we actually get to play this game?

And if we do, will Doncic be out for blood after we waxed him last time we played them?

Things could change quickly of course, but it's been reported that Dallas is en route to Charlotte and will have 12 player available. It's also expected to be the first game of the year for Porzingis.

Doncic will be ready to play, and James Johnson will be ready to kick someones ass

Tonight actually might be a good night to play McDaniels some instead of one of the Martin Twins simply to have another lengthy guy to put a hand in Porzingis face. Don't get me wrong, Porzingis could still dominate him physically in the block, but I think McDaniels could have a couple of defensive possessions on KP if we use him right.

If McDaniels wants to recreate the iconic Drago/Creed battle from Rocky IV that would be an option

I just hope the Zinger is a little rusty and on a minutes restriction. We don't have any great options to throw at him right now.

Brunson- Out
Finney Smith- Out
Powell- Out
Kleber- Out
Richardson- Out

They will probably go with a rotation of:
Luka- Tyrell Terry
Burke- Josh Green
THJ
KP- James Johnson
WCS- Boban

Goal should be to play them similar to how we played Young and Hawks. Get the ball out of Luka hands and run THJ off the three point line. If they want to try and play bully ball with Boban and KP, then that is fine. Would rather that then let Luka shred us out of PnR all game.
