PHI out: Simmons, Poirier, Ferguson
PHI in: CJM, Covington, POR 2023 1st

PHI out: Thybulle, Korkmaz
PHI in: PJ Tucker, 1st from recent haul

Embiid/Howard/Bradley
Harris/Tucker/Scott
Covington/Green
CJM/Milton/Joe
Curry/Maxey

Why for Portland? Simmons fits better as a defender and better with Lillard. They don't have to give up much to get Lillard/Ben together for 5 years.

Why for Houston? They were linked to Thybulle, and pay the price of a future 1st to get him.

Why for Philly? Collect 2 future 1sts and put better fits around Joel while solidifying depth. Maybe an overpay for Tucker, but could be more in that deal coming back.

That is a championship caliber team.

You're right that they need D. I wonder if Washington would consider a deal based around Danny Green and a 1st for Brown and Bertans. Might have to add something else too?

Oladipo and Lowry are my top targets right now. Don't imagine the price will be that much different. Lowry probably fits better since he's better and more willing 3 point shooter, though he's obviously older (almost definitely cheaper to retain though). Oladipo's easier to match salary-wise, and the Rockets might be more motivated to make a deal.

Based on the reporting last night, Fertitta seems to be charging a “Morey tax”. So while Oladipo might be easily acquirable for another team... I don’t think that applies to the Sixers.

Meh. I don't imagine the same bitterness would be there without Harden involved. And it seems like the Sixers had first rights of refusal, even if the ask was crazy

Green, Scott, Maxey, Thybulle, 1st
For
Oladipo, Tucker

(Might need more cap filler to be legal)

Would ya?

Curry-Oladipo-Simmons-Harris-Embiid feels pretty formidable.

Shake, Tucker, Dwight as your playoff 8.

Nope, I would pass on that one.

Oladipo regressed back to suped up role player. He's no longer playing like a star.

No way would I give up Maxey and a 1st rounder for what I've seen from him.

A healthy Victor Oladipo is a better player than Bradley Beal.

Totally agree.

I mean, okay. Oladipo of three years ago is a better player than Bradley Beal. What makes you think that's what we'd get?

I've never seen PR and 1 good season carry a players rep harder than Olakneepo (76ciology/Iverson Armband.. please). And his body is literally decomposing at hyperbolic rates

Don't look at the 20 ppg Oladipo is scoring, look at the way he's scoring those points.

During his ascent to stardom, only 28-29% of his buckets inside the arc the assisted. He was a shotcreating beast that struck fear in the hearts of defenders off the dribble.

Now look at him. He's being heavily assisted, north of 48% of his buckets inside the arc are fed to him. He's a suped up role player. Even Tobias Harris (who is a pseudo-creator, at best) creates more of his own buckets that Victor. And Dipo was even worse in last year's bubble playoff. He's just not a star player anymore. Based on the way he gets his buckets, he's a tiny Tobias Harris with defense.

The 76ers never ever ever acquire a previously injured player through trade that comes here and plays just as well as he did before he got injured. It never happens.
The Accession of Paul Reed is upon us !

You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.
