Aside from the fact that Nurkic shoulda fouled out midway thru the 4th.. that isn't an excuse. The refs completely killed any flow the kings had in the 4th

They completely killed flow most of the second half for both teams. This wasn't the refs. Kings missed a lot of good looks in the second half and gave up 2 20 point leads. This wasn't the refs.

Kings just really need a difference maker on defense, we can't get stops when we need them. Dame and CJ are some bad boys though, man. Both played great games tonight.

I watched the second half. He's playing a lot quicker than in the past. Taking A LOT of 3's and hitting them at the same efficiency as in the past. He's still an ill fit on this team, but it's not just statistics when watching him. He's clearly made an effort to be a better passer and get more looks from the arc.

Without Caruso though Harden would have averaged 31/7/5 on 51/39/85 shooting in that series...so yeah, he gave him fits.

Honestly, I'm not in a rush to compete this year so I'm just praying Evan Mobley finds a way to Sacramento. I think he would help this team a ton.

I think that's the prudent move. Don't rush it. Get another big talent and aim for playoff contention next year, and an open window the year after if things work out.

POR starting backcourt tonight: 68 points, 23 assists, 1 turnover. That's taking care of the ball!

If you add in POR's third guard, Gary Trent Jr. it becomes 84 points, 27 assists, 5 steals, 1 turnover.

Damian Lillard became the first player in NBA history to go for 40 points with at least 13 assists to commit zero turnovers.
