Levert is my favorite player. Looking forward to seeing what he can do in Indiana

Caris LeVert, DeAngelo Russell, Rodions Kurucs, Jarrett Allen, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson. And coach Kenny Atkinson. These guys along with Spencer Dinwiddie and Joe Harris are/were our foundation.

Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen, Rodions Farewell Thread

Post#25 » by Paradise » Thu Jan 14, 2021 8:15 am

I will hang both of their jerseys in my room as a piece of my Nets history wall. They are Nets for life.

I’ll never forget the Caris-Lillard duel, Rodi locking up Blake Griffin, Allen dominating Gobert.

Had to post again for the first time in years to say good-bye to the core of this latest Nets team.

Loved watching LeVert's playmaking and Allen's earth-shattering blocks and dunks.

Will miss those boys.

Those Kurucs highlights just reminds you of his potential...dude moves so fluidly for a guy his size, reminds me of Kirilenko honestly. A guy that can legit play C, but moves like a guard.

The highlights also show how out of control he was at times though lol.

I wish we would have somehow found a way to include Dinwiddie in the trade instead of Allen and keep Allen for this season. I found myself being real emotional over this

Jarrett Allen is 100% a championship-caliber role player who could contribute in a big way to any top contender. Any team that locks him up long-term would be lucky to have him.

The Dinwiddie injury probably made us have to throw in an extra pick or an extra pick+swap, because instead of Dinwiddie, we used Prince, who is way less of an asset than a healthy Dinwiddie. But Allen was always going to be part of the deal...pretty sure he was the most valued asset we had between him, Levert, and Dinwiddie.

A salute to our young core, the guys who worked to build us back from perennial bottom feeder status, into a tough out every night. It was the right move for our front office to make, at the right time. I wish Caris, Jarrett, Rodi and Taurean the best.

Go Brooklyn!

After sleeping on it, still excited for the future of this franchise, but losing the aforementioned still stings. We got to witness them coming into the league raw and develop in to above average NBA talent in a short time. I really feel like Jarrett was turning the corner with his progression. I understand the Nets window to be in the conversation for an NBA title will be open briefly, so in order to put a championship caliber team together they would have to give up on young developing talent.

The feeling for me is bittersweet because James Harden's talent is undeniable and now adding him to the roster with the best scorer in the league (KD) and a top PG (KI) when he's physically and mentally tapped in, this team should be difficult to beat most nights. It sucks losing Caris and Jarrett the most but I know they will both continue to thrive in the league. Now on to a bigger and brighter future with the current roster.. Excited to see how this all concludes

I don't know if Jarrett will start right away in Cleveland, but Drummond and/or McGee will likely be moving out of his path to the spot.

Legit shed a tear for Caris and the Fro. Love my guys.

Definately stings losing them after watching them grow so much with our own eyes. Bittersweet.

I wish them the best in their journeys. Will be cheering for them to succeed.
