GT: Game #13 - Charlotte @ Toronto (Jan 14th)

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Thu Jan 14, 2021 1:26 pm

It’s the battle of the x2 PG line ups!!

Bounce back game - although potentially without the Hornet King which will make things infinitely more difficult.

Bridges to the starting line up, or Twin #1/#2 to the starting line up?

Monk to get some PT perhaps?

Baynes has been average so far, so we shouldn’t get smashed inside

Is Hayward okay for today's game? Charlotte and Toronto needs Hayward in the game and Melo playing at his best.

Why does Toronto need Hayward ok and LaMelo playing his best?

My guess is Toronto fans are realizing that 35 year old Kyle Lowry, Pascal, FVV and OG are not a good enough core to be a player in the East. They are 2-8 are probably hoping to fall somewhere in the 5-18 range so they can start the tank.

Supposedly a good draft and Toronto doesn't have much in terms of young talent with big upside.

Toronto fans can be thankful then that their team just naturally sucks all by themselves so they don't have to worry about what other teams are doing.

Still no call on Gordo - but 90mins before the game and he is now being listed as "doubtful".

Called it. I mean he is the 4th best player on the roster by TPA currently, its just that Ball is ahead of him :D

I figured he would sit tonight, why risk it on back to backs, let’s see what the Martins can do!

...And now we have to rely on Caleb Martin and Malik monk to break the curse.

I get to "enjoy" the Toronto broadcast tonight.

I can't stand Jack Armstrong. He's such a douche.

Maybe I am misremembering but I'm sure PJ was better on post ups last season. He seems clueless when he posts up this year.

That should have been a bunny at the front of the rim then after backing Lowry down.
