Third teams are welcome to add some extra value to Rockets if this feels light to them. Bucks end up upgrading their Big 4 with Jrue/Dipo/Midds/Giannis, slide Portis into the starting 5 and keep DDV as 6th. Add some small moves and 1-2 signings from the buyout market to fix the depth and you are good to go.

Gross. No thanks to Oladipo.

Deadline deal to Houston is something around DJ and Pat for Tucker and Boogie, assuming neither guy is bought out. Not giving up whatever assets we have left for a half season rental of Oladipo.

So the news bits say harden and Durant talked about joining together in Brooklyn over the summer. And kyrie was the pushing it even before.

So that's not tampering?

So nothing is tampering?

All the **** ask each other to form super teams all the time, and none of that **** is tampering?

Wtf is tampering.

The Houston Rockets have received interest from multiple teams in P.J. Tucker, sources tell Kelly Iko of The Athletic.

Tucker has sought an extension with the Rockets but never was able to agree to a deal. Tucker will be a free gent in the offseason.

Sources tell Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer that Tucker's value around the league is perceived as being worth three second round picks. The Rockets could hold out for a team to offer a late first ahead of the March 25th deadline.

Do you guys think Horford knew when he signed with the 6ers that his contract would guarantee he'd never play for a contending team again?

Anyway let's trade for Kenrich Williams.

Houston isn't getting a 1st round pick for a 36-year old, expiring contract PJ Tucker. Rockets FO pretty obviously the ones leaking that.

This seems like a pretty damn good call if he can defend at all.

I dont believe its possible for us to trade those first round picks. I think the next one we can trade is 2029.

Bucks were linked to both Tucker and Oladipo this offseason.

Dipo immediately leaking that he doesn’t like being in Houston seems like another red flag considering the ish he pulled talking to opposing players about wanting out of Indiana during games. Then again he did fly to Athens to train with his fellow Nigerian if Giannis might still want to play with him...

PJ seems more enticing / realistic though if he could really be had for as little as some second round picks.

KOC said we were “in pursuit” of Tucker before the draft, so we very well might still be interested if we think he has enough gas left in the tank for a serious playoff run.

I want nothing to do with Dipo. Already crying about not going where he wanted to go...what a douche. Suck it up for a season and head wherever you want.

It’d be hard for the Bucks to match salaries for Oladipo as well.

That’s even aside from whether or not we’d entertain the big longer term deal he is seeking this offseason. He might want to go to Miami but could be in for a rude awakening in terms of what they or anyone will be willing to pay him.

Oladipo is not the same guy... and too expensive.

Tucker is undersized and about to be 36. Also complains about his contract which is probably a fair contract.

Lopez is playing better, Portis is doing well, DJW can play if needed (probably not needed). DDV is just fine for us.

Players can do whatever the heck they want. Front offices cannot. Plain and simple.

Not per the rules, but in practice yes.
