By the way..
Who are we competing against for Beal?
Guys like Jaylen Brown, MPJ or Siakam would just be a sideways move for those teams.

Denver I guess? Good point though. The likely candidates have already given up their picks and, as you said, Boston is not trading Brown or Tatum.
I know the Lakers were the team discussed by the national hacks but they clearly don't have anything interesting.

Ya, I don't think those teams would trade those players for Beal. It wouldn't make any sense.
Us trading Ben for him wouldn't make any sense either.
It would have to be a Maxey, Tybulle, Shake, picks type package, IMO.

MPJ for Beal is also like a sideways move. It also dont solve Nuggets’ problem on defense.
The best i can find is the heat with a package of Herro and picks. If that’s the case then it’s easily beatable.
Then if you think further. Once Beal gets traded..
What kind of offers do you see are available for Lavine? It should be easier.

Yup.
Thats why i think Tobi, young players and picks can get it done.
If they dont want Tobi then find a third team.
LEARN FROM THE NETS.
Rox didnt want Lavert, so they involve the Pacers

Would we even want to beat a package of Herro and picks? I fear that we'd end up offering the Harden package for a far inferior player.
Whyyyyyyyyyy

Why wouldn’t trading Ben for Beal make sense for us? It makes tons of sense.

Sorry, I don't see a way to Beal or Lavine that doesn't include Ben.
Lowry seems like the logical choice. He's a half year rental. Should be able to get him for Green and filler plus a 1st. Maybe have to consider adding Tissot.
Lowry can create, he's a tough defender, grit and grind pest.
Lowry/Curry/Simmons/Harris/Embiid
Maxey/Shake/_________/Tucker/Howard
I think that's the best possible lineup we can do while using as few assets as possible.

Because i want to double down on our suffering from high expectation.

But seriously, teams like the Wizards are the type of teams who’d welcome a guy like Tobias.
Another alternative is trade Ben for Beal. Then trade Tobi, Milton and picks for a third guy (Lavine?).

I dont see why we should go for Lowry.
He isnt that much better from Shake or Maxey. Lowry is like Ben, He’s good when you have a couple of stars who can carry a team by their own (Siakam and Kawhi).
Lowry does not fit well on this team. He’s not going to be the guy we go to after Biid. It would be Shake or Maxey.

If the NBA trade market has taught us anything, you're not competing with other front offices over trade packages. You just need to convince the player that you're the perfect landing spot for him. If Beal wants Philly, he'll be in Philly, regardless of what the Wizards are offered from another team.

Just look at the trajectory, though. White is way better than Beal and Lavine when they were 19 and 20, respectively. He's a superior talent to both of those guys. He's even becoming less annoying to play with with his passing improvements this year. White would be amazing with Embiid, IMO. Especially in conjunction with Milton and Maxey. And if we decide we don't have magic with him, we trade him. He's cheap and ultra desirable as a young creator on a rookie contract.

You're competing against an invisible window of durability/happiness of Embiid. Embiid is primed and ready to be part of a historical duo.
Why would Beal want to be in Philly?
Doc Rivers is one of the very few coaches in the league that matter.
Daryl Morey is a respected GM.
The chance to form the coveted perimeter/post duo with Embiid that has yielded a tremendous amount of success historically.

Yup, thats why I think we’re again going to be the front runner for beal.
And if without Ben on the table, maybe even still be the frontrunner. Regarding this statement, I’d like to hear everyone’s opinion thats why i ask what are the possible offers out there for Beal.

I think the new slant on the trade market is just capturing the heart of the player.
As we saw with Davis and Harden, there was never any real chance they were going anywhere but L.A. and Brooklyn.
We need Beal to list us as the only team on his trade list and force Washington's hand like those other players did. We do that through on-court success and recruitment from Embiid.

Shouldn't we be trading Ben for someone who can be effective within the next two playoffs though?
