Also worth noting that Layman is out as well due to the birth of his child

Looks like juancho got covid and Ricky is out for hanging out with him.

Ricky already had it in the summer so he can’t get it again. 10 days for Juancho, Ricky waiting for contract tracing.

That doesn’t seem to be true.

Some players have tested positive twice.

Of course, he would come back, get that Timberwolves miracle tonic. He will be back in top form much sooner if he plays us than any other NBA team, we have special healing properties for NBA players. Grayson Allen was busted this season until he played us and became an all-star.

When I'm on my deathbed my make a wish will be to play the Timberwolves. I'll instantly get another 10 years of quality life easily and drop 20 points on them in the process.

That’s what Nate Duncan and Hollinger said on their basketball podcast that you can’t contract the virus twice

I think that is still unknown, you may be able to get it twice, it might just be pretty rare. Also, there may be a more aggressive strain, still a lot of mystery.

There are different variants, but this does not actually means they got it, just that they could got it from someone else and are under the protocol because of the incubation window.

NBA prognosticators don’t “know” anything about covid.

It does not matter either way, because - spoiler - the wolves are terrible. No such thing as a double or triple blow out.

Overall, a lost year for Ricky Rubio after three really promising series. Poor guy seems to be cursed to play on garbage franchises until they improve (and he is a big part of that improvement), at which point he gets traded to the next garbage franchise.

Ricky plays the worst basketball of his career right now (which is mainly on the system), so McLaughlin can't be worse at the moment.
As for Herni, it's good news not to have him in the lineup (but of course for bad reasons). This should give us the first Vando start.

Just need Dlo to take a rest game and we can have JMac Vs Ja.

(probably would be Culver/Edwards instead anyway :banghead: )

After a few people here reporting their newborn babies lately and hearing of a few players also I wonder, is this the 9 month range after parents started being stuck at home all day? I remember someone joking that there would be a baby boom to follow.

Ricky was never that good. The system is crap for sure, but Ricky is doing nothing to lead the second unit and make it work. He isn’t driving and kicking, he isn’t using good judgment in shot selection. How many throw a heads does he lose per game, (compared to how many have worked all season?) Ricky is worth at most 7 mil a year as a backup PG. Instead he is making 17 and our taking on that contract pushed us up against the tax line so we couldn’t even keep RHJ. Hell, we would even be better off with JJ then Ricky and we could have drafted someone at 17 with Jayden at 33. Rosas blew it this year. Add Ant to the conversation and we are in Roy for Foye territory. Wiseman was right there for the taking and we blew it.

Everyone is an expert these days. Most of all among the Qanon community, they all know best.

This is just nonsense. I assume you didnt watch much of the suns last season. You really need to think about how much the guys are really doing what they want to vs. what the game plan they have to follow is. Ricky is forced into a role that is just plain terrible, and consequently he looks terrible, but to say "he was never that good" is just absurd. Besides that, even if he does not much on offense recently he is still very much a plus on defense unlike DLo. Try to count the charges and deflections and steals, all of which result in extra posessions for the team. Didnt look it up but i'd think he leads the team in hustle stats.
