If we get blown out imo it will speak more to what we looked like in the early part of the season when lauri was in the starting line up because without him we won the next 4 out of 5 and in the 3 losses we kept it close. So we have to figure out why we play better without lauri then with him.

I'm ready for all 3 scenarios:

1. I'm wrong and he shoots lights out, the defense doesn't miss a beat, and we blow out OKC, cause Lauri pours 20+ pts against less experienced PFs - plays good defense and cleans the glass.

2. He bricks and plays like ass, and excuses come out that he needs a couple games to get his rhythm back.

3. He scores his usual 14-20 points, and it really makes no difference, cause he gives it up on the other end, and the game is closer than it should be against a tank team on a losing streak.

4. He defeats the Thunder by himself by shooting rainbows out of his orifices.
And who doesn't like rainbows?

I will add:

5. Any of 1 through 4 happen and it means absolute diddly squat because it is a one game sample.

That opens up another question, is this a 10 game straight sample size you're looking for? Does it still count if it's 10 games over 3 months because Lauri got injured again?

Feels like the 1st game of the year with Lauri and OPJ back plus the million day gap since last game. Excited for this one, OKC is a team we just have to beat.

Nothing better than seeing Lauri attack and get to the line instead of just settling for the 3.

Wendell starting the game comatose again. Gets set up with the mismatch and immediately passes the ball out... after driving the lane against 2 defenders a couple possessions earlier.

Someone give him some smelling salts or something

That's the Boylen brain washing at work, rookie season WCJ would've posted up immediately.

Nonetheless, I'm impressed Lavine noticed the mismatch and that it led to a good look.

The Bulls aren't playing all that great, or that bad. The Bulls on the rare occasion just looks like the better and more talented team.

Thunder do play hard though, so they won't let up.
Why so serious?
