Zion has so many clumsy fouls that don't get called on either end.

We only played 2 good quarters and still won by 17. Feels good.

***controversial opinion alert***

I think Zion is very overrated. He is not a superstar in this league. He's a high floor low celling guy. He's limited by his hight and inability to space the floor. He's not even a number 2 on a championship team. He's Montrez but a better athlete and better passer.

Zion reminds me of a young Julius Randle without all the athleticism.

This... Zion's getting away with murder in the paint right now because the golden child sheen hasn't worn off of him yet, but unless he develops some actual skills pretty quick, it will, and he's going to be extremely limited as a result. He's all bully-ball and hop right now.. But they're letting him get away with all that awkward contact, that he looks borderline dirty at times.

He's a kid who's used to being the biggest, strongest kid on the court everywhere he goes, and having guys avoid contact or bounce off him like they weren't there... But now he's facing guys close to his own weight and strength, with better skills and footwork, and it's not as easy... So now, he's driving into guys a little harder, and the elbows are coming up more, so he can continue to play the way he's used to...

He's going to need to get better at reading the defense and developing some actual footwork.

He was always over-rated to me... He wasn't the heir apparent because of his skills... He's a physical freak with crazy explosiveness, But his most clamored over assets, being big and bouncy, are in direct conflict in the grind of the NBA, and how it wears the body down. He was a joint injury waiting to happen and he's got conditioning challenges... A bad mix..

On the plus side, he's got a jump shot with some outside range... Although no one wants to see Zion shooting 3s... And they've surrounded him with guys who do it better.

In fact, right now, Ingram is stealing all his thunder... Which actually might be a good thing for him, because it gives him the time to focus on his body and his skills.

I think if he can stay healthy, he's going to still be a superstar in the NBA, but, he's not going to get over guys like Luka, and THT :D
