GT: Rams at Packers - 3:35 - Fox

Post#1 » by MickeyDavis » Sat Jan 16, 2021 1:18 pm

Forecast is mid 30's and cloudy.

The line has moved from 7 to 6.5. There was a lot of money on the Rams to move it off 7.

Play our normal game and we win. Please don't be the Steelers and dig a big hole early.

Jones has had limited touches to keep him fresh for the playoffs. This is it. Use him.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Most confident I’ve been for a packers playoff game in years. I think the Packers cover and have felt that all week. Score is like 27-16

The last time we were the #1 seed we lost to the NYG. If we don't screw up we should win but I'm still nervous (but I'm always nervous). :pray: :lol:

I think the key come playoffs is going to be for our offense to be effective in all four quarters. Can't have that 1.5 quarters where we are all just three and outs, puts too much pressure on the defense and tires them out.

Also important that Rodgers doesn't get too Adams focused, maybe Tonyan and MVS surprise in this one. Also, Lazard hasn't done all that much, might be a good time for him to re-emerge

Is this Rams defense the best defense of all time? The media would like you to believe it.

This might be the scariest stat I've seen about this game. I hate being the heavy public favorite.

Don't have a good feeling about this one. Even banged up, they have the better defense.

I'd like to say that I don't care if Davante goes without a reception today, as long as the Packers win. But......, I'm greedy, I want both Adams for 10 catches - 120 yds - 2 tds AND the win

I'll do you a solid, it isn't healthy to live in fear;

There defense is good, but keep in mind;
a.) they played a **** Dallas team to start the season
b.) they played a **** Giants team week 4 (no Barkley) 9 pts
c.) they played a **** Washington team that had Kyle Allen and Alex Smith 10 pts
d.) they played a **** Bears team that had **** Foles playing 10 pts
e.) they owned Seattle but then we found out Seattle wasn't as good as we thought they were 16 pts
f.) they lost twice to 49ers, once with Jimmy G and once with Mullens playing QB, I think gave up at least 23 pts in both
g.) they gave up 3 pts to maybe the worst game of Cam Newtons career
h.) they gave up 23 pts to the Jets
i.) they gave up 7 pts to the Cardinals where Murray only played part of the game

All that said, no doubt they are good, but this is not some great defense, they benefited from a lot of opponent injuries and got owned by some scrubs along the way. Have faith.

The packers are going to rout the rams... all week long, its been about that ram's defense, and how Jalen Ramsey and Aaron Donald are unstoppable, how they will run all over us with a rookie rb, and a meh oline. The media has made it sound like were the 6.5 point underdog.
The packers have heard all this, and are definitely laser focused in murdering this team... this will be a blowout

Makes sense. Too much National hype on Rams but people are coming to their senses. I don’t bet but if I did I’ve been saying Pack cover all week.

Yeah, I don't really gamble, but I think I would lay down a 100 on the Packers at 6.5, but I could just be setting up my heart to break this afternoon, who knows?

If I still gambled I'd put cash on the Rams as an emotional hedge. Bet the line that way you can still root for the perfect middle where the pack win but Rams cover :)
