I want to remind everyone that I am still upset we didn't land James Harden.

He was the key to us winning more rings. I don't believe in Beal.

NBA set schedule until early March. Then there is maybe ASB and like a month of whatever time. That's when those games will be played if I'm understanding correctly.

Truth.

The worst part is Harden went to KD's team. GG GHF

KD has had decisively better teammates. He should have had 4 rings by now.

He should have won at least one with peak WB and Ibaka imo

True, though I don't think they had good injury luck after Harden left

Should have definitely won that 3-1 series vs gsw ofc

WTF is good injury luck? :x

Are you trying to confuse me with the double negatives? You don't think they had good injury luck? :x

Yeah that game 6 was the closest one. Klay went off iirc but they still had a chance had one of KD or WB shot well (should have been KD since WB was just not very reliable).

They lost to Grizzlies, Spurs, whatnot.. lost some tough series and KD was big part of it. They called him Mr. Unreliable :x

Oh yeah I forgot they lost to the spurs. They should have won that too, they matched up better with Spurs than we did

Yeah I remember that I'm just trying to understand what you're getting at.

I don't think they had good injury luck after Harden left.

I think they had bad injury luck after Harden left.

after they traded Harden they needed to get JJ Reddick type SG to make up for WB's erratic shooting, but they never got around to it so that's on the ownership. They always had some junky players at SG.. besides Kevin Martin who they got for Harden. He was ok but not quite good/reliable enough. The year they went up 3-1 against GS their starting SG was Andre Roberson who's the worse shooter than Shaq for crying out loud :x

Yeah I think they tried to upgrade with Kanter/Mion too. Yeesh Presti, just get a shooter

It's kind of funny how much they still struggle with it, poor Dort was left 30 ft open for his shots in playoffs

Presti has always been a little too inclined for athletic wings and less for shooting. And then they get very useless McRob/Bono type one dimentional shooter who's unusable. So the shooting/scoring fell too much on KD and Westbrook. They could've done better.
