Have always loved KPJ's talent and wondered about the other stuff. Don't know how to bring him in but I'm open to it.

Interesting/surprising/worrisome stat on nba.com's power rankings today: "Middleton has some tricks in his bag and has ranked as one of the league’s best pull-up jump shooters over the last two seasons, but he shot just 31.6% on clutch shots over those two years. That mark ranked 110th among 112 players with at least 50 clutch field goal attempts over the last two seasons (including playoffs), with new teammate Jrue Holiday (29.6%) ranking 112th."

At least there's nowhere to go but up for them.

Not concerned. Clutch shooting to me means much less than the normal person. Clutch is one of those traits that is overvalued, IMO. Obviously you want guys to make those shots but

A. As long as they make shots the rest of the game its ok
B. The stat is typically just an outlier
C. As long as they make their free throws in crunch time I am fine with it.

I just have a hard time believing guys shots change that much in crunch time and as we have seen with Middleton before some of those clutch looks are with .3 seconds or so on the clock so there is very little room for error.

Yeah, especially in Middleton's case, I imagine the clutch shot sample size is extremely small because of how many blowouts we've had.

Porter Jr is a talent gamble we should absolutely make. Plus if it works out it could be viewed as a good draft pick by Horst. Win/win imo.

Jrue/DJA/Adams

If the Kings believe Pat holds positive value this might work but it still doesn’t work salary wise. We need to send out roughly $5.7MM in salary to bring in Bjelica.

We need to send out more than that because of the hard cap.

We could ship out DJW. Don't think he is needed as the third c/backup pwf if we get Bjelica

KPJ is really terrible, the only way I'd want him is if Forbes is the outgoing piece.

How do we get Rose? Maybe he tells Detroit's FO he'd like to come play for a championship in Milwaukee, close to home. Also ask them to throw in Ellington.

Some guys we should look at:

D rose, Still got it
devonte graham, felt he was charlotte's best player last season
Patty mills, Awesome shooter n i miss not having an aussie on this team but pop loves him and patty is loyal
Fournier, Talented scorer
La vine, Can be quite a chucker and terrible on d but nonetheless is a talented scorer
In reference to our title winning year

Jon Horst should correct John Hammond's mistake that he inherited from Larry Harris and finally bring Alec Burks home.

I doubt it is a small sample size issue given that there is a cutoff they use on the amount of attempts that seems non trivial.

Bud is not the best coach to design one play when you need it, but Khris has quite a few misses himself.

I guess people can wait and see with Jrue.

One good thing - A LOT of people here wanted the Bucks to trade for Chris Paul. It's good we didn't. He's still a good pleayer, but he's not elite anymore. That was clear yesterday when he got burned several times down the stretch by Morant at both ends.

It'll be pretty hard to argue against it if the Suns make a pretty significant jump from their 34 win campaign last season.

I don't agree with that logic. For all we know, Phoenix would do better with Eric Bledsoe than with Chris Paul. How Paul is performing shows he's not an elite player anymore.
