We will have 2 elite players on the floor at all times. that is impossible to counter no matter who you are.

There are plenty of shots for all 3. dont forget levert had a 30% usage rate before the trade. these guys have played together before on team USA (Kyre/Harden/KD/Jordan). its going to be great chemistry

KD & Beard are just so awesome together... I almost want to see Kyrie traded away for good picks.

Kyrie is such an amazing player when he's on the floor, but honestly-- he's such a total c-nt (British slang) when he's doing his "Kyrie things."

F-ck that, yall. What we actually need are players who are interested in showing up for us IMO.

You certainly don't know that, as usual.

I think the thing I'm most looking forward to this season, is Kyrie yamming on somebody. It will probably only happen literally once or twice the entire season, but it's going to be glorious when it does.

I'm tried of him being blamed for everything. He is still a good starting Center in this league. There are just certain matchups that he can't do.

Im sure an elite passers/shooter/finisher will make us worse. LOL

Look at Kyrie's metrics:

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/i/irvinky01.html

There is zero drop off here. In fact, when he returns we are most likely playing 2 of the Big 3 on the floor at all times

Expect 20+ point blowouts from here on out.

this. 100% this.

It was always crazy to me people were iffy or even dead set against harden because "dont trade your depth for harden" or "We are better off with 2 stars and elite role players"

No... you are better off with 2 ALL-NBA player on the floor at all times.

And no team has 3 all world defenders. We saw tonight the nets just played keep away from Jrue. when we have all 3 guys we can just give it to whomever has the opponets #3 defender.

think about this... you typically ened 1 or 2 screens to get a #3 or #4 defender switched on to your star. we have that organically without even making a pass

I’ll make sure to get things organized, so this is coordinated and easy to participate in.

I’m going to pin one thread that will give a general description of the voting process and tallies up crown winners over the course of the season.

At this time, I’m thinking it may be easiest to close game threads after wins and open a separate post-game thread with a poll, so it’s easier to track our votes but I’m not sure. I’ll think about it and get your feedback.

In the meantime, I have some questions:

1) Someone (MDB?) mentioned something about having a “Knight” award in addition to the Crown. What function does the knight have? Is this a 2nd place vote?

2) At the moment, we’re only giving out crowns for wins. Should we leave it at this or do we want to give out “Jester” awards for bad/underwhelming performances when we lose too?

Any feedback and/or suggestions would be appreciated.

Oh yea for sure, crown knight n jester

Yes this is it, crown , knight and jester. Jester would go to Shamet. Like every game

Rename the Jester to the Shammy lol

My sports teams are currently experiencing suckiness. Please pardon the mess.

I'm still in awe of how we got such a hard worker. He has championship role player written all over him.

underrated hops... he used to dunk alot more but in order to stay healthy he kind of went away from it. he used to do windmills in the celtics layup lines

I'll be very honest, the Nets were toying with the Bucks tonight. We got lucky that Middleton missed that look at the end, but we weren't even at full power playing against them.

yea... i mean we didnt get the best version of KD tonight. Giannis was hitting jumpers. if we played them 7 times id expect 7 wins and 3-4 blowouts

Still a bit worried about the minutes. Hopefully Kyrie coming back helps us keep everyone at around 32-34 MPG. Hopefully we start blowing teams out more.

Great W. KD + Harden are obviously ridiculous but we got great contributions from Harris, DJ, Green, and Brown too.

The offense looks absolutely beautiful. Just a perfect mix of PNRs, off-ball stuff for our shooters, and post ups for KD. Can't wait to see Kyrie with this group.

Ok, thanks for the early feedback. It looks like we’ll vote for a king, knight, and jester.

The only remaining question is whether we want to do this after every game or just after wins.

I think I’ve found a good, easy solution for tracking all of this stuff over the season. I will include all of the info in the pinned thread, which should be up sometime tomorrow.

His high school mix tape he was doing 360's and between the legs in the air and **** in the layup line as well. Remember him saying in an interview some years ago, he rarely dunks in games to preserve his knees.

Blowouts are coming...remeber early in the year when Kyrie/KD crushed it, went to the bemch and we lost because our bench got slapped around?

Well now Kyrie and KD will be playing vs bench units. or Harden KD, or Harden Kyrie.

2 of those guys vs. other teams bench is a 10-0 run in a heartbeat
