He is still the No.1 guy and the leader with those guys back. I don't think Justise is even goin to start. I will bet Bish that he gonna have a better career then Zion if they stay healthy.

Watching different teams today, I feel like we could compete with any team in the East except maybe the Nets if we were able to trade for Oladipo and Myles Turner with packages around Dragic & Achuiwa.
Herro
Oladipo
Butler
Bam
Turner
with Duncan coming off the bench.

Booker seems to be struggling a little bit playing along side Chris Paul.
he can't just get his anymore, he's probably adjusting to the winning baskteball

Honestly feel like we can still compete with any non-Nets East team as-is, Bucks are frauds

Nets with Joe Harris and Kyrie will be too much for a lot of teams. Oof
Bucks at the end of the game become all Middleton ISO or bust, which makes them very mediocre. A fraud some might call em.

We can compete, but with other teams improving and us yet to gel, I’d feel a lot better if we made a mid-season move to improve.
Getting Dipo/Turner or Dipo/Woods while keeping Herro/Dobinson would be two ideal outcomes of mid season trades. Happy to send out PA for either of those two, and Nunn/Iggy/2nd should be enough to get Dipo.

last play of the game. they put the man whom they just paid 230 million in the back court (the opposite end of where they were trying to score a basket goal).

and when someone is daring you to shoot 3s, any kind of 3s, why take a 26 footer?

Oh boy Oladipo looks good in his first night in Houston as a point guard. This will not be a cheap addition

They were always going to let him do his thing to pump up his value. He’ll look a bit different when he has to share a backcourt with Wall, especially if they’re playing a real team.

Right, the reason why he didn't want to go to the bubble is because he still physically wasn't where he wanted to be but he was going to lose a lot of money so he went to the bubble and underperformed(where it hurt his chances on being traded for by maybe someone he wanted to go to), more time has went by since his injury and he's getting back to his old self. I'm not saying he'll ever put up his career numbers but he's still going to be a very good 2 way player for a good number of years to come. I don't consider him a star/whale but a high level 2 way player added in with Butler and Bam seem like a great match. I don't think Miami needs a top 5 guy(although you always want someone like that), just get as many very good 2 way players as they can with Butler and Bam.
I'm not so sure Indiana would have traded Oladipo to someone in the conference knowing they weren't getting what he's worth with him forcing himself out(making them look stupid 4 times a year and maybe in the playoffs).
Personally, I'd really like Oladipo's fit with Butler and Bam giving them a shot against Brooklyn by being able to put good defenders on Kyrie(Oladipo), Harden(Butler) and KD(Bam) and then having Brooklyn figure out how to slow up Butler, Bam and Oladipo although Harden is fine defending in the post which Butler likes to do a bunch and KD's length could make the pick and roll with Bam more difficult.

I agree, Indy would of been very resistent. It's most likely will have to wait for free agency. I just do not see us having what Houston looking for. Look at what Pelicans got for Holiday. Oladipo will have to cut more of a fool than HardenAirP. wrote:twix2500 wrote:https://youtu.be/CjtbzT3DBms
