Blake's fall off is nuts lol. Like I know he was hurt last year but dude is playing like he's 40 and this is his last year lol

Look at Blake's 2019 playoffs, though. He's still a hall of famer talent capable of turning it up in small doses. I would do that swap in an instant. That would save us $80m.

Put Simmons at the 4 where he belongs. Put Milton in the starting unit. Elevate Maxey to Milton's 6th man role. Replace Mike Scott with Blake Grifiin. I would do it in a heartbeat.

We may even get picks coming our way to do the swap.

Crazy. I actually ended up dealing Tobias for Blake in 2020-2021 in my 2K19 dynasty haha. Blake was a bad fit, for me at least in the game.

Not saying Blake is better, but it must be nice for Tobi to have 100% of his three pointers (32% of his shots; the majority of his FGA) are assisted and also playing with a generational talent in Embiid.

Tobi likely would play better than Blake in Detriot, but it's a completely unfair comparison for the factors I explained above.

I still can't believe the Rockets took back a guy who had a mass on his kidney and demanded a similar amount of picks from us including Maxley and Simmons.

It had to be personal with Morey that is the only thing that makes sense

LeVert is at Indiana, Dipo is with the Rox.

Dipo has no mass in his kidney but has a higher chance to be the next Usher than an all NBA player

I mean LeVert if they find out it's cancerous (pray that is not the case) may never play in the NBA again. LeVert just said in an interview that he was unaware if it was cancerous and that more tests needed to be done.

So yeah I am surprised that Indy took him and Houston viewed him as a positive asset close to Simmons. I mean that reported asking price of 3 first round picks is close to the Nets WITH Simmons and Maxey. The only other asset would have been LeVert who we now know is damaged goods. It's a crazy ask we are getting a ton of flak for not making the deal but there is a huge gap of what they asked from us and what they accepted from BKN

Yeah. I was expecting Rox to not value LeVert because of his medical history, not the kidney issue. But i didnt expect them to give out that many draft picks for a player they dont really need but certainly helps them to win a championship in the next 2-3 years while really sacrificing their future in the process.

I dont know man.. but they should have just went for a guy like Beal. Then maybe trade one less pick and one less pick swap.

That would allow them to still be a contender now. And have that pick and pick swap with Beal for the future.

Harden is just an overkill on offense. There will be a lot of possessions when Kyrie will be reduced into a spot up shooter. And this guy probably is one of the league’s best ISO player.

Once you over provide for something, you will sacrifice on other needs. Like over medication for a disease that may lead to some damage to other organs

Although PG came off like a moaning broad after Dame's dagger by even saying that, technically there are "bad" shots from a strategic perspective. However, a bad shot for Ben Simmons may not be a bad shot for Steph Curry, even if they are from the same spot and have the same defensive pressure applied.

The Nets have three hall of famers in their prime on the floor tonight.

And Collin Sexton is the best player on the floor and it's not close. Should have traded for him when we had a chance.

While rebuilding teams would value this picks given the nature of how the lottery odds are structured and the talent in the future drafts.

Heat, Celts, Sixers, Mavs and Nuggets should be hunting now.

The look in his eyes says it all. Three unhappy millionaires trying to convince themselves the grass is always greener in other places. All three should have just stayed where they were drafted and been heroes instead of becoming villains.

The Nets need to move one of the big 3. Three high usage iso players on one team are too many. I still think a Simmons for Harden trade will probably benefit both teams right now.

At this moment I want the Nets to collapse.
Dream scenario we are going to the NBA Finals, Embiid dominates Davis. Simmons shows why we kept him.

Sexton vs. Alexander is an interesting debate.

On paper, Shai is more well-rounded from a skillsets perspective but Collin is clearly the more alpha of the two.

Also, Shai has never quite lived up to his defensive potential in the NBA and that was the main force that separated him from Sexton.

Can you imagine being Durant? I feel for the guy. He's one of the most gifted players of all-time, has all the wealth one could ever ask for, but still just seems so agitated, depressed and passive aggressive. Sure the media is harsh in sports and social media is not kind to any pro athlete, but dude just needs to let go of it all. For as much **** LeBron has gotten over the years, he's handled it pretty damn well.
