Probably Rodgers. A lot of people get pissy if you say Rodgers might be the BOAT QB. It was believed for a while that Rodgers had an outdated coach and not the most balanced roster, and obviously the counter point to that was that - his roster and coach were good and Rodgers simply was just not because he is turnover prone etc.
So I would say Rodgers winning a superbowl would be greater validation of his greatness than Durant. Durant wins another ring with a great team it's kind of been there done that already.

Gronk is the best weapon of anyone the Pats or Packers have had in the past 10 years and it isn't close
that aside, your notion that receivers/weapons are more important than defense is quite amusing
This argument is never ending but Tom Brady won Superbowls with Troy Brown and David Patten, with Antowain Smith at running back. The best receiver he's had in the last 3 Superbowl wins was Julian Edelman, who was a college qb. Gronk was injured for one of the Superbowls as well so that argument doesn't hold much weight. If you want to argue coaching then fine but the Pats weren't a top defense every year and still won Superbowls. The 2011 Pats made the Superbowl despite being ranked 31st in yard allowed.
This argument isn't particularly close, Brady has had more team success, better overall numbers, more longevity, and a higher peak with his 2007 season.
you are one blinded individual. Brady himself is on record stating that Rodgers can make throws he can't.
Is Khris Middleton a better player than Giannis because he can make free throws that Giannis can't?

Basketball GOAT list is more in the zeitgeist than the NFL GOAT list. Durant is more famous than Rodgers. His winning will be more known and related to him. Rodgers will just have won again.

Rodgers.
He has waaaaaay less help.
Imagine giving him a WR the NFL equivalent of Harden (ie/ Hopkins, Julio whoever) and a RB the equivalent of Kyrie (ie/ maybe McCaffery, Cook). Rodgers would be destroying defenses.....he's basically doing this like LeBron with Kevin Love (Adams) only.
If Rodgers pulls this off he'd likely had to put on a next level performance. KD doesn't need to, to win....his teammates can carry just as much of the load as him, whereas it's pretty much on AR to get this done especially in order to keep up with the Cheifs offense which ironically is something like the KD Warriors for football.

Oh so Brady plays defense or runs the ball instead of throwing? that's what makes him a better player?

I don't think it helps Rodgers much. No one holds it against Rodgers for winning just one super bowl. Even with Brady being the GOAT, Rodgers was considered by many the best QB currently in the league before Mahomes showed up.
If this was the NBA, people would be on Rodgers for falling short many years and not having more rings.

Re: Whose legacy will be boosted more by another ring: KD or Aaron Rodgers
Brady is one of the most clutch to ever do it and understands game flow perfectly. But he also has had good defenses and coaching his entire career, and has fed off a terrible division for 20 years, earning a first-round bye probably 75% of the time.
Rodgers is possibly the best passer ever (now possibly Mahomes), and one of the smartest. But he has been dragged down by bad coaching (more evident now), bad defenses (still true today), and in the 10 years during McCarthy, has only had a bye week twice. And now twice in a row under LaFleur. It's clear now that McCarthy and Thompson rode his coattails since 2012 or so.
So all of those things can be true. Brady can be amazing at what he does and still benefit from better coaching, defensive talent, and high-end talent (this year), and Rodgers can be amazing at what he does and be dragged down by mediocre coaching, historically bad defense, and lesser talent (especially defensively).
Therefore, it's impossible to do an apples to apples to comparison, but you kind of have to pick Brady because of all the hardware he has, but even then it's not so simple.

Neither of them do, that's why one being better at throwing the ball is more significant in this debate.
