Faried would feast playing off our big 3

A very flawed player but in our current situation he's a six man of the year material. I don't think Harrell is substantially better than him

I would take Jordan over Faried. Hey, look we got Jordan.

If the goal is to find a good paint defender and rim protector to spare DAJ some minutes, Faried is NOT the one.

He signed a cheap deal in Sacramento because no one was willing to pay him but the Kings have pretty much cut his minutes to zero because he doesn’t fit with the likes of Fox and Hield on offense. Holmes is more mobile

In my opinion, I think we need someone that can handle the 5 but can also switch out on perimeter and not be a liability. Nets switch alot on defense. Faried is quick enough to not let wing guys completely blow by him. I think that's where we're at. Don't really need another center with the same skill set as DJ IMO which is why I don't want Whiteside.

He is Durant's friend if I remember well, he plays in a position of need for the Nets and he can be acquired for a minimum contract.

no Beasley is exactly what we do not need. His bread and butter is the mid range but we do not need another scorer. He can't play defense and his 3 pt shot isn't that good. Pass.

Faried wouldn't be that. He'd be a change of pace 5 when we go small in certain matchups. A Harden Faried combo in the second unit would be filthy and rip opposing benches apart. You're talking 10-0 runs in a flash that'll blow open the game. Fact we have KD means you can go Faried at the 5 in smallball matchups without giving up too much size.

We have 3 roster spots left which should be to get Faried. A true big and a big wing ie Ariza. That'll give us versatility in any matchup and the big 3s individual brilliance will decide the game in our favour. Really. It's just make sure TLC or Perry isn't out there playing any meaningful minutes cus they're not good enough.

McGee would be perfect. He is a excellent rim protector and a really good rim runner pick and roll. Harden will get him a ton of ally oooop dunks off the pick roll.

McGee would be a solid option. He was a plus for both the Lakers and Warriors although he didn't play much in the playoffs for the Lakers since they had a better version of him in Dwight

I wouldn't mind McGee, the thing is it might be redundant because we already have DJ, they are basically the same player.

McGee unlike DJ actually has jumper so he can be used as a pick and pop player . He is a little more versatile. Another option could be Dwayne Dedmond who is a good shot blocker but can also hit the three ball.

Every single playoff team in the league would happily let McGee take jumpers at the expense of the big 3 taking any shot.

I’m not saying he should take it all the time, but if needed be he can hit it. His main job would rim run off the pick and roll and block shots

Are we still looking at LeBron's team as the gatekeeper?

I say our bench is good, cheap and will be able to do we we need them to do. Hoping Perry and Claxton will be ready.

I feel like Harden can bump with LeBron and KD is able to handle Anthony, but they will be banged up and I'm not liking that.

Who we need is someone who can come in and make it hard for both LeBron and Anthony if Joe becomes a defensive liability on switches.

As for who, I don't know.

To match up against the Lakers we need to load up on some big body real bigs. LeBron struggles against true rim protectors and while DeAndre can hold the fort for half the game we need another big body or two. We all know what Roy Hibbert did to Bron, and I doubt they would have beaten the warriors if Bogut was still healthy
Forget about Clax or Perry. It's not their time yet

Lakers got no hope of stopping our offense so as long as we can lock down the paint against Lebrons drive and kick I like our chances. Davis is an absolute beast and there's no real stopping him but KD can match his production

I like the idea of McGee if he's cut in Cleveland.

I dont think thats the goal. i think the goal is athleticism and rebounding and someone who can play at a SSOL up and down pace. the fan/media narrative might be defense, but i dont think thats the teams big philospihy

Count me in for Fareid. Hes a high effort, tough guy who can play 10-15 minutes a night. Exactly what we need.

Won't demand any shots or touches.

I also want RHJ. The Wovles only cut him because they had no roster spots.

He is still a very good defender and can do some things offensively. Right now we are still thin at the 4.

Ughhh.. Faried was such a B here and on his way out..

“It’s very frustrating. A lot of, ‘We’re going to play you when injuries,’ and a lot of, ‘We’re going to play you when in this moment, that moment,’” Faried said Tuesday.

“Just tell me when you’re going to play me or tell me if you don’t want to play me. Tell me if you want me here or not. Because I’m a real honest player, I’m going to give you my heart, give you my all. And I wear my emotions on sleeve. I’m not going to be happy if you keep lying to me and telling me false statements.”

I know we have a lot of new fans, but for the ones that have been around pre-KD/KI, how could you want this guy back?
