I don't love it because I believe that as a 1a 1b with Zach they are not a great match. Defensive concerns, not an additional playmaker, and in today league bigs have some limitations.
IMHO Beal and him are the next "stars" player on the trade market. I think both are Lavine level players and not real franchise players, but they are for sure talented.
Having said that you could try to build a team around them and hope for extra growth putting some strong defenders around them.
An ideal lineup in this context a team like Lonzo/Lavine/Pat/A. Gordon/KAT would be really good.
Something like:
KAT for Otto/Carter/White/unprotected first
A. Gordon for Lauri and some second round picks.
I don't know if the value is fair.
Even though I'm not in love with the KAT plan I think the team needs to consolidate 2 of the young assets (White/Carter/Lauri) and the salary to a player who is an all star or close to it. Of the three Carter is the one I would prefer to keep, but depends on who is coming back.
